I made this last night with Grilled chicken Ravioli from Sam's because I didn't have any Alfredo Sauce on hand. I LOVED it! I did read the reviews and make the changes suggested....1 tsp minced garlic with the butter, only used about 1 1/3 cups milk and 4 oz. of parmesean (half a container of kraft grated), about 1/4 tsp black pepper and a few grinds of sea salt. Next time, I would probably add a little more parmesan...maybe the 6 oz. It also did not thicken quickly, it took a good 5-10 minutes.
I will definitely not be buying canned sauce again! The cream cheese does give it a little of a different flavor than traditional Alfredo, but it is a really good white sauce to use with your Italian dishes!
