Salsa Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2005
This recipe is a great alternative to traditional mayonaise based pasta salad. It's light and refreshing. I used bow tie pasta and fresh jalapeno peppers for extra "kick" and the salad does taste better the longer the flavors blend. Try it-- I will definitely make again for our next barbecue. Omitted the olives--they are not neccesary--and I don't care for them.

Burgundy Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2003
I can't believe how good this turned out. I took the advice of others and added half wine (used Merlot) and half beef broth instead of all wine plus I added 8 oz. package of sliced mushrooms to the recipe. The pork was great and the gravy over the mashed potatoes was delicious. Terrific recipe-thanks!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2003
This is the first recipe I've tried that tasted better when I ate it the next day as "leftovers". I added some orange juice as suggested by others and a blend of white sugar and brown sugar rather than all white sugar. The chicken was delicious-thanks!

Sweet and Sour Meatloaf

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2003
I thought the recipe was great! I used "meatloaf mix" rather than all ground beef because it just tastes better. Also I didn't have minced onion so I used some fresh onions. Next time I will add more fresh onion to the recipe. Definitely better than your "traditional" meatloaf recipes. I will make again. Thanks for a great recipe!

Jalapeno Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2003
Thanks for a great recipe. The chicken was delicious!! I made the recipe with chicken thighs and legs and had the ingredients scaled down to just 4 people. I also took the suggestion of adding corn starch to the sauce because there was no way it was going to get thick. My 7 year old daughter loved it too. Great blend of flavors-I will definitely make again.

Healthy Turkey Loaf

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2003
This recipe was great!! I doubled the recipe and just used green pepper the both times I made this recipe. I think I even like it better than traditional meatloaf. It's freat for leftover sandwiches also. Loved the taste, will make again and again!

Camp Cornbread

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2003
This recipe was so simple to make and it went well with barbecued chicken. The bread definitely stays moist which isn't always the case with plain corn muffins. Thanks for the recipe I will make it again.

Cinnamon Honey Butter

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2003
This recipe is delicious. I probably added more cinnamon than the recipe called for because I like the taste so much. We ate it on whole wheat bagels--and it was terrific. I will definitely make again. Thanks!

Chocolate Dipped Orange Biscotti

Reviewed: May 15, 2003
Really simple and delicious recipe. I didn't cook them quite as long as the recipe indicated when placing them back in the oven for a second time, probably only about 10 minutes--so they wouldn't be hard as a rock. But the mix of flavors was great and I look forward to making them again. They were definitely a hit!!

This recipe tasted great. It was nice to try something a little "different" for a change and even my six year old ate it. Thanks for the recipe.

Chicken Supreme IV

This recipe was easy and tasted great. I added sauteed onions and used a blend of cheddar and monterey jack cheeses and thought it was delicious--definitely worth keeping.

White Barbecue Sauce

Reviewed: May 6, 2003
I've tried many recipes from this site and were pleased at the results, however this recipe was awful. I followed the recipe to a tee and used it on chicken breasts but the taste was terrible. The taste of the vinegar was way too strong. I will not be making this again.
