Restaurant Style Spaghetti Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2014
Needs more Italian flavor. I added another garlic clove, 2 tsp dried basil, and 1 tsp dried oregano. Also 1 tsp salt, pepper and 1 tsp sugar. I like the addition of merlot and sausage but prefer ground.

Spicy Vegetable Beef Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2014
I love soup and am always looking for good recipes. This is great minus the pasta. Great flavors and a good cut of meat makes the difference! Nice balance of herbs and the addition of tomatoes rounds it out.

Easy Vegetable Beef Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2014
Needs more flavor. I use beef stock or broth instead of boullion, 1 cup shredded Savoy cabbage, and 1 tsp Penzy's Chili 3000 powder. Penzy's kicks it up a notch and the other ingredients give it a richer flavor.

Gluten-Free Impossibly Easy Breakfast Bake

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2014
This sounds like an excellent gluten-free breakfast recipe. I'm always looking for good GF recipes and will try this out before house guests come next week. Do you think this could be made day before and refrigerated until baked? Thanks!

Gluten-Free Impossibly Easy Cheeseburger Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2014
Thank you for sharing this! Always looking for gluten free recipes. This was a tried and true "go-to" recipe I used often when my kids were growing up. So I made the same but added fresh chopped tomatoes, creole seasoning, and Monterey Jack cheese mixed with cheddar. Served on bed of chopped lettuce with tomatoes and ranch dressing drizzled on top of pie. Keeper!

Ultimate Twice Baked Potatoes

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2013
Very good! I leave a thick rim of potato around the skin when scooping out to make a sturdy shell. I also don't use a mixer but mash the potatoes until creamy.

Sauteed Green Beans

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2013
This is too much fat for me. I cook the bacon in the microwave between paper towels that absorb the grease. Crumble the bacon. Sauté beans and onions in 2tsp. Olive oil, adding almonds the last 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
