Jiffy Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2012
Very good! I made these with my nieces while their parents slept. The dough was very sticky, so be sure to flour your work surface well. Bench scrapper came in very handy. My only issue was the glaze...very thin as written. I added more sugar and it was still thin. Still very good treats, but not Cinnabon thick as I was expecting.

Maple Glazed Sweet Potatoes with Bacon and Caramelized Onions

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2011
Excellent! We made this for Thanksgiving. I made the night before to be as prepared as possible for dinner. Warmed in over after the turkey came out and microwaved the sauce. A nice time saver for this yummy dish.

Mongolian Beef and Spring Onions

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2011
Excellent! My husband loves Mongolian Beef on the Chinese Buffet. He said this was better. For some reason, I couldn't find flank steak the night I wanted to make it, so i used round steak.

Cajun Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2009
As so many have said, this is very good! I have made it many times...marinating the 30 minutes and longer. I've added a pinch of red pepper flakes to give it a bit more pop. I also cut the chicken breasts into fingers for quicker cooking and more even portions.

Chocolate Bar Fondue

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2009
As others said, it was a lot like work to grate the chocolate. So after doing one bar with the grater, I put the rest in the food processor. Very easy and very yummy!

Four Cheese Macaroni

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2008
Excellent. I followed the recipe with the exception of doubling the cheese and I didn't have any eggs in the house. Very well received by my dinner guests. Thanks you.

Sweet Onions with Radish Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2008
With radishes coming up in the garden, this is a good recipe to use them with. I doubled the radishes. I also think that next time I will cook the onions longer as they still a bit too crisp for my taste. Quick and easy!

Serious Herb Cheese Spread

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2008
We enjoyed this but the garlic taste lingered a bit too much which surprised me because I love garlic. I think I will try the suggestion to roast the garlic next time.

Turkey 'n Stuffing Bake

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2007
Very yummy and easy. Instead of peas, I put in leftover broccoli and brussels sprouts. Not too soupy as I think I had more veggies than originally called for. I totally agree that this is a wonderful way to use up leftovers. Thanks!

Brooklyn Girl's Penne Arrabiata

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2007
I make this a lot and love it. I slice the chicken breast before I coat them and cook them. Cooks faster and makes for a nice presentation on the plate. Thanks!

My husband, the Salisbury Steak expert, said I could work in any cafeteria now after making this yummy recipe! I added the mushroom soup and dry onion soup mix to the sauce as many suggested.

Jalapeno Pepper Appetizers

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2006
These are very good. The suggestion of 2 teaspoons of cream cheese is a bit off...it's more like 1 teaspoon. Also, for some reason mine took forever to cook....an additional 20 minutes. I finally turned the over up to 375.

This cookie turned out to be a bit too hard. Also, I had A LOT of chocolate and coconut leftover after I dipped and covered the cookies.

Broccoli Chicken Divan

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2006
I didn't have any leftover chicken, so I sautéed 2 chicken breasts with garlic, 1 medium onion and a dash of poultry seasoning. I made this last night for a sick neighbor as well as us. It's a great size to make to give away. Also I followed the recommendation to use some herb stuffing for topping…. This will be made in our house again. Thanks.

Blueberry Buckle

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2006
Excellent! I followed most of the recommendations about the reduction of flour, the combination of white and brown sugar and adding the vanilla. I agree that this needs more than 20 minutes to bake. I baked it for 30 minutes; put a toothpick in to check and it came out clean. When I served it the following day at work, the middle was still mushy. Next time I will totally follow the 50 minute recommendation.

Cheesy Pork Chops with Spicy Apples

I've always been a fan of pork with apples, so I loved the sound of this recipe! I made this in a fry pan and then put it under the broiler to melt the cheese. Very yummy and quick!

Cranberry Puffs

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2005
Excellent tasting and fairly easy. I only used half the recipe on Christmas. The next night, I added another half jalapeno to the mixes...a bit more spice. 2007 update - I made these again, but instead of frying them in oil, I baked them for @ 15 minutes at 375. Turned them over and baked for 5 more minutes. Still very yummy, but a bit better for us.
