Whole Wheat Honey Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2008
WOW! I just moved to Utah from Kentucky and my old standard wheat bread recipes was not working for me. This is fantastic. Very moist and delicious flavor. It did take and hour and a half to rise. I almost gave up hope. but it made it. i also followed tip of wrapping it in a towl while hot and waited 4 it to cool before cutting to trap moisture. I made a snafu and apparantly didn't grease the pan. The loaf broke in half trying to get it out. None the less it was delicious!

Chewy Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip Cookies

Reviewed: May 20, 2005
These are really great cookies. I kind of hate it when people review a recipe but have made a bunch of changes. But that is what I have done. I was out of butter and marg. so I used shortening and didn't add the water you are supposed to when you subsitute. This made the cookies hold up their shape marvelously. They were thick, soft and chewy. Very excellent recipe. thanks for sharing.

Slow Cooker Chile Verde

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2013
very good. Husband wanted me to make "real" verde by cooking down the tomatillos myself. I didn't have the patience so I tried this one and he loved it and thought it was the "real" thing.

Bread Pudding II

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2010
I was looking for a recipe to copy the rasberry bread pudding at my local bakery. I decided to try this one as a base because it got great reviews and was easy. I left out the cinnamon and stirred in a few dollops of rasberry jam. It turned out great. Not quite as good as the bakery because I'm sure they don't use jam for their rasberry mixture, but a very worthy copy, satisfied my craving for much much less! Oh and I did add a couple extra pieces of bread because it seemed too soupy.

Peanut Butter Fudge IV

Reviewed: May 23, 2008
WOW!!! The best thing about this recipe is that in less than 10 minutes you will be satisfying that peanut butter craving (though it will still be warm.) It is super easy and, for me anyway, it is stuff that you already have in your cabinet (I used 2.5 cups of mini marshmallows because that is what i had). I also mixed in 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips at the very end and just barely stired them so there was a ribbon of chocolate. Delicious! I made a half recipe because I wasn't sure if my fam would like it. It was gone after an hour. Thank you for an easy and delicious recipe.

Peanut Butter Bars I

Reviewed: May 9, 2008
These really are great. I was skeptical of using graham craker crumbs but it gave them the texture of reese's. Very easy and rich. High calorie though.

Homemade Maple Syrup

family favorite! I used the two cups of brown sugar as suggested for thicker syrup and add butter to give it that buttery flavor. Saves tons of money! thanks

Golden Sweet Cornbread

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2008
FANTASTIC!!! I used half brown sugar half white, and used powdered milk so I could use my food storage. So yummy and easy. Stays together better than waikiki cornbread from this site. My very picky 5 year old said it tasted like there was a bit of heaven in it.

Sloppy Joes II

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2008
I can't believe I ever paid a dollar a can for manwich. This is SO easy and much better, and cheaper. My terribly picky kids even ate it. I didn't have any green pepper and don't really like it so I just put in a bit more onion. Easy, fast and delicious.

Tina's Shortbread Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2007
These aren't really what I expected, I am not sure what I expected, but these were fantastic! Very rich. Crisp. Not like your normal chocolate chip cookie, but definetly worth trying. And I LOVE how few ingredients it takes, very easy. The other thing I love about this recipe is the dough is delicious, taste just like normal cookie dough, but because it doesn't have eggs in it, I can let my kids eat the dough, without worrying about raw eggs. Fantastic

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2006
This recipe has made me famous among my neighbors. I have been on the search for the perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe. I have tried at least a dozen different recipes from this site...this has won the contest from my family and neighbors. I have made these probably 20 times. Unlike most cookie recipes I have tried. These are not good under baked. You have to cook them at least 15 minutes. I have also played around with some of the ingredients, and have found, these are best when you follow the recipe exactly.

Jamie's Cranberry Spinach Salad

It really is as good as every one says. I could eat the whole batch and I don't even like salad. I didn't have the sesame seeds and it was still delicious.

Cheesy Beef and Bean Bake

This recipe was OK though it was extremely easy. I found there were way too much potatoes so I scaled back to four cups.
