Tilapia with Creamy Sauce

I really liked the flavors that pulled together in this dish. It didn't fool my kids or husband into enjoying fish, but I really liked it.

This was a pretty good recipe but I found that it was too sweet and too saucy. So I cut back the butter to 1/2 cup and the sugar to 2 cups. I think next time I'll up the cocoa to 1/2 cup and see if it's a little more rich and fudge-like. Otherwise a good recipe. Oh, I added a little salt too, 1/4 tsp.

Asian Orange Chicken

This is really good. I made it for visiting family and they thought it was very tasty. I omitted the pepper flakes, we don't like spicy orange, but otherwise I followed it exsactly.

Marinade for Steak I

Absolutely Fabulous Greek/House Dressing

Really good dressing. I put it over a pasta saled with olives, feta, tomatoes and cucumbers. Very tasty! Also great on my salad, my kids liked it too!

Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad

This was edible, but nothing awesome. The dressing was a little weird, probably because of the Ranch dressing packet. We liked the ingredients, but I will probably try a different dressing.

All-Around Good Smoothie

I've always been afraid to make my own smoothies. But this is good. I followed it almost exsact. I used pulp free o.j. instead of milk and my flax was milled. You do notice the texture of the powder and flax, but it isn't bad. I made blueberry/banana for myself and mixed berry for my husband. I wasn't hungry for about 4 hours. Hope they will replace my husbands no breakfast routine.

Pork Chops in White Wine

I omitted the water and still needed to thicken the gravy a bit. This was good over rice. The pork was tender and seperated easily. Will make again.

White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies IV

Um, maybe my nuts weren't very good, but I didn't like these. I wanted something like subway makes and this wasn't it. Doubled the ingredients, except for chips and nuts. My husband said they were ok, so that's why I gave 3 stars instead of 2.

Soft Oatmeal Cookies

Very soft, very good. These are very tasty and I followed the recipie exsact. I only added 1/4 tsp. nutmeg. Then I put rasins in 1/2 and choc.chips in the second 1/2 for the rasin-haters in my family. Thanks!

Refried Beans Without the Refry

These are sooooo easy and VERY good. I halfed the recipie because I wasn't sure how much 15 servings was. Next time I will make it all and freeze some! My 5 year old even liked it and doesn't usually like beans. My company asked for the recipie!

Spanish Rice II

Good rice. Will make again! My husband doesn't like "spicy rice" so I will probably cut back on the chili powder next time. I didn't alter it much, just used boullion cubes with my water and some cumin. Turned out out. Company wanted recipie!

Beer Batter for Fish

Good, but needs more seasoning. I would load up way more garlic powder, salt and pepper next time. The texture was good though. We used Tilapia with this which fell apart to easily. Will try with a heartier fish next time.

Honey Nut Granola

I needed to add more honey and vanilla for more flavor. With out those two things it was a 3 star. With them it was a 5 in flavor and 4 in consistancy.

Chicken Teriyaki with Asparagus

This was so simple and quick, but VERY tasty. I used Havarti instead of Swiss because of my husband's preferences. I also only had Teriaki so I added honey to the marinade. It was very moist and a good combination of flavors. Kids ate it up too! Will definatly make again!

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Thick and Soft! They turned out exsactly the way I was looking for!AWESOME! These cookies are so good! I couldn't stop eating them. And I think the Ginger helped me ward off the upset stomachs (flu) that my husband and kids had over the weekend...lol. I am going to make another batch tomorrow!

White Chili I

Ok, I give this recipe only 4 because I had to tweak it to make it more chili-like which turned it into a 5 star. I didn't have cilantro so I didn't use that. I added an extra can of beans, mashed to thicken it up. I also added like 4oz of Mont/Jack/Colby Cheese and 1/4 cup of sour cream. I really liked it, good seasoning.
