About this Cook
Married Mother of 4, I work full time. Love to cook! It's relaxing and second nature for me.Grew up around 2 Italian grandmothers who cooked all the time. All occasions revolved around the food.
My favorite things to cook
My favorite family cooking traditions
Sundays growing up was pasta w/meatballs day. Have to cook rice balls (arancini) around the holidays and of course the all fish dinner on christmas eve. Love cooking a prime rib an christmas day.
My cooking triumphs
Perfecting the italian rainbow cookie.
My cooking tragedies
When I first started cooking I made a batch of meatballs that tasted awful! It had something to do with garlic I used, I think it was called elephant garlic and for some reason it tasted like soap.

Garlic Chicken Sausage and Summer Vegetable Saute
Very good recipe, not a big fan of polenta though. This would be really good over pasta or put in some Italian bread for a sandwich.
