About this Cook
Born and raised in Italy. I miss the Italian pastries and will try my best to post one of the famous Northern Italian favorites recipe. I just found it today. If it succeeds I will try to open a bakery/pastry shop...that is my dream
My favorite things to cook
Pasta, experimenting with Asian foods, Breads and pastries.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Helping mom getting our freezer full for winter.. of all the good veggies that we've growned and harvested over the summer...including making tomato sauce....OMG it was so good!
My cooking triumphs
No knead artisan bread loaf and rolls, PIZZA!!!! Fruit tart from scratch and much more. I just combine a mix of recipes and go for it...ah and the real Italian Lasagna...recipe will follow, we also call it Pasticcio.
My cooking tragedies
OMG my very first Thanksgiving ..I've cooked a Turkey...but had no idea there was a bag in the cavity with all those parts that people use to make stuffing etc..so yeah you can just imagine. Hey in Italy meat is packaged a bit different. O_-

Best Baked French Fries
These French fries were absolutely awesome, easy to make and so worthy. My husband couldn't get enough and asked me to make them more often, usually he's not a guy that goes gaga for fries, so people give it a try and enjoy this healthier but tastier version. Thank you for sharing this recipe mmyers168.

French Bread Rolls to Die For
Like others I've have decreased sugar to 1 TBSP. I used about 4 cups of the flour I would say. It's very humid where I am at this time of the year, so I am cautious. I've pretty much follow the recipe as written. I wanted to agree with a few others on the negative critics that were given. Common sense is a must in baking bread, please do not blame the person that has gifted this awesome recipe. Cannot thank you enough JOCATLIN, it was easy and fun and gnummo!!!! My son just came home and stole a bun and made a sandwich...He said it was soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside and tasted great.
