Chicken Breasts Stuffed with Crabmeat

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2005
This recipe tasted weird. I mean, the breading and chicken were fine, but once you bite into it, you get this creamy mess that you're not expecting. My boyfriend liked them, but I think he was just trying to be nice...

Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars IV

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2005
I am VERY picky when it comes to recipes. This one is great! Here are a few tips to save on fat/calories for days when you don't want to feel like a total glutton: I used reduced fat peanut butter, cut the butter to about 2/3 of what the recipe calls for (and for half of the butter, I substituted with margarine), and cut the confectioner's sugar to 3/4 of what the recipe calls for. The bars really don't taste any different. They are still sweet and chocolatey and sooooo peanut buttery!

Baked Sesame Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2005
This recipe was ok. The chicken came out a little dry and caked with flour.

Sweet Potato Pie II

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2005
Great pie!! Didn't think it looked right going in the oven, but turned out fantastic! Top it off with a pecan and brown sugar mixture during the last 15 minutes of baking and it's good to go.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2004
AWESOME! I am somewhat of a bread connoisseur and this is hands-down the BEST pumpkin bread recipe around. I've tried plenty. The buck stops here.

Creamy Pesto Shrimp

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2004
I have made this recipe a staple at my house. First of all, the ingredients are few and easy to keep on hand (shrimp in freezer, and pesto keeps for a long time in the fridge.) I just have to make sure to pick up some (half & half) at the store. Half & half is less fattening and the recipe still turns out marvelous. Another tip, I always add a bunch of baby spinach at the last minute. It's a great way to get veggies in the meal and tastes great!

Baby Back Ribs

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2004
I had no idea baby back ribs were this easy to make. The meat literally fell off the bone! You just have to make sure to get BABY BACK RIBS at the store (don't settle for spare ribs or regular ribs.) And, if you bake it at 325 degrees, you only have to leave it in for about one and a half hours. Great recipe!!!

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2004
Oh wow! I have tried "The Best Banana Bread Ever," "Banana Bread I, II, IV" and this is the best recipe out there. I did add a few extras: 1 tablespoon of vanilla, 3 tablespoons of half&half, and 2 tablespoons of shredded coconut. I'm not sure how the recipe would have turned out without the modifications, but if you add everything I did, I promise you'll get a dense, moist, and flavorful banana bread!

Cashew Crusted Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2003
This was good...but something about the texture just wasn't right for me. It might have been that the cashews didn't crisp enough in the oven. Anyway, the chicken had a great flavor with the sauce. Overall, I would make it again.

Ann's Shrimp Etouffee

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2003
This recipe was awesome! And it didn't even take as long as the instructions say. I used tomatoes instead of mushrooms (since I didn't have any mushrooms on hand) and it still came out great! I highly recommend this recipe.
