Cabbage Rolls II

Definitely read reviews! I modified the recipe in the following ways: 1. using instant rice instead of cooked rice (saved time and turned out the same) 2. added 1/4 to 1/2 cup of the sauce mixture to the meat mixture to add more flavor and help the rice cook. 3. Used 95% lean beef still delicious. 4. Quadrulpled the sauce. I used a 15-oz can of tomato sauce and a 15-oz can of fire roasted diced tomatoes for some spice. Added minced garlic (2-3 cloves) and about a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar. I had extra meat mixture so I put it into greased muffin tins and poured sauce over them, cooked for 30-40 minutes and my hubby actually preferred these over the cabbage rolls because the meat cooked in the sauce, and left a nice little crusty top. YUM.
