Orange Cranberry Drops

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2006
Yummy, I really enjoyed these cookies. I rolled my cookies into balls and then sugar. They baked up beautifully. I always use a chilled baking sheet - easy to do in the winter and the bottoms don't get too brown.

Red, White and Blue Slaw Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2006
Just made this and it's great. I love tomatoes and blue cheese so it was perfect for me. I bet it is even better once the flavors have had a chance to combine. Thanks!

Salted Peanut Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2010
I think I have made this recipe 20 times. It is easy and very tasty. When I buy mixed nuts over the holidays the leftover peanuts go into these cookies. Yummy. Thanks

Apple Breakfast Popover

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2010
Easy and fast to make. I would have to agree with another reviewer whose husband did not care for the apple and egg combination. With that said, I loved the popover just by itself, I will definately be making this again. Thank you

Kay's Shortbread

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2006
These are very very good. I really mixed my butter & sugar well as another reviewer suggested and had no trouble with dryness. I did add the extra 1/4 cup of pwred sugar...but I'm not sure it really needed it. I think it may take away from the buttery taste. I divided the recipe into two cake pans and my cookies were a little more crisp, how I like them. Remember mixing well may be the secret. Also start with your butter at room temp. Thanks

Creamy Rice Pudding

Great recipe. I make rice ahead so I can quickly make this for my daughter. I do leave the butter out just personal taste. It is wonderful hot and even better cold. Thanks for sharing

Almond Crunch

This recipe was easy and delicious. I did take others advice and go to 275 instead of 300 and added 1.5 cups of peanuts and 1 tsp vanilla. It turned out very good. Thank you

Microwave Oven Peanut Brittle

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2010
I made this for my daughter's wedding. I made so many batches I feel like an expert. Here is what I found. Follow the recipe. I tried pecans which are too moist a nut and the recipe turned out mushy. I tried cashews with a 50/50 result. Some cashews were dry enough others were too moist. Peanuts always worked. I definately purchased a handled mixing bowl at a super store...This is a must! Take the minute to check your microwave power adjusting the cooking time might be necessary. Good luck and be safe.

Banana Banana Bread

Excellent. I lost my favorite banana bread recipe five years ago (how does that happen?). This has become my favorite...I think it is actually better.

Curry Pumpkin Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2010
I love curry so I thought the recipe was very good. I did use cream instead of half/half and thought it was too rich. Definately needed the salt/pepper too. Next time I will add some root vegetable and maybe shrimp and follow the recipe closer. Thanks

Easy Quiche

Great. So easy, just what I was looking for on a lazy evening. I did add 1/2 tsp of dry mustard, 1/2 tsp of onion powder and 1/2 tsp of garlic powder. Easy enough to do. Thanks for posting this recipe.

Cherry Crunch

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2010
I really liked the ease of this recipe. I did adjust a bit by adding two peeled and chopped apples, tsp of vanilla drizzled over the cherry pie filling and a sprinkling of salt. I also do not care for cherry pie filling without the help of say an apple....it is just too tangy for me. I also cooked 55 minutes

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: May 12, 2008
Great recipe. I brought this to a party where I heard many fancy appetizers were being served. I was a bit nervous...but people loved it!! I added mango and skipped the brown sugar. I cooked my chips as 400 for 8 minutes, it just really depends on your oven. Thank you
