Apple Crisp II
Made this with the suggestions from ALLY99 and doubled the crumble recipe to have a bottom & top crumble, used solid butter instead of melted and used a pastry tool to combine. Also tossed the apples with cinnamon / flour mixture, added the nutmeg and reduced the water to 1/4 as suggested. I also added more cinnamon & flour to coat the apples than the recipe called for (kind of just winged it with amounts until I felt it had the aromatics I liked). I also cooked it for an extra 10 min. but that could vary by oven. It all turned out great but I'd say it came out more like a crumble pie because it all held together like a pie. It makes quite a bit and is very sweet and rich so small servings seem to do the trick (but still delicious especially with vanilla ice cream!)

Ten Clove Garlic Marinade
Used this on beef last night with a couple of modifications and it was really tasty! Didn't have any steak sauce so used ketchup and I omitted the onion since I usually put an onion in the pan as it roasts. I also only had a chance to marinate for about 3 hours. Was still very tasty & made a lovely au juice after cooking to enjoy with the roast (I did pour the whole marinade into the roasting pan & added water as it cooked).

Classic Peanut Butter Cookies
Just like mom use to make! My mom use to make the best peanut butter cookies but we haven't been able to locate her recipe. This is the closest we've found and they turned out great. Did half the batch just as the recipe calls and half the batch with a chocolate button pressed in the middle prior to baking.
