Burger or Hot Dog Buns

Chicken Nut Puffs

I have never had chicken with nuts before so I was a little skeptical about trying this recipe but these little puffs are wonderful! They are soft and slightly crunchy at the same time. I served them with a honey-mustard sauce for dipping. They must be served immediately because I found they cool off quickly and get harder as they cool. I found that they reheat very well in the microwave for next day treats.

Lentil Loaf

I used a tomato/cream dry soup mix which gave the loaf a great flavor and color. The loaf itself is nice and moist but still I served it with lots of gravy. Next time I will leave out the bread crumbs because they all fell off when the slices were laid on their side.

Fabulous Hot Five Bean Salad

Mall Pretzels

Wow - these pretzels are super. I've tried MANY pretzel recipes and the pretzels always turn out heavy and tough. These "mall pretzels" are soft and fairly light and taste wonderful with cinnamon and sugar. I will definitely be making these again.

Chocolate Pinwheel Cookies

These cookies are a lot of fun to look at and are worth making just because they are so novel. They have a nice taste that's not overly-sweet. I sliced the dough very thin and I only got 2 dozen cookies out of it instead of the suggested 4-6 dozen.

Chocolate Angel Torte

I've made this nice light torte a few times now and it turns out perfectly every time. It has a beautiful almond flavor (although I used almond extract rather than Amaretto) and looks impressive when sliced.

Butter Tarts I

The flavor of these butter tarts is quite nice. Next time I make them, I will cut the baking time back because my husband prefers his butter tarts quite a bit softer.

Sun Dried Tomato Focaccia

I've made this bread twice now by hand rather than in the bread machine and it turned out fabulous. I find most home-made breads to be very "floury" tasting but this one was moist, flavorful and a big hit with my dinner guests.
