I've made this recipe several times exactly as written, except I use boneless short ribs. The sauce is perfect, the meat tender and flaky and the flavor to die for. I get recipe requests every time. I usually serve this with garlic noodles, but am going to try it with baby red potatoes tomorrow. I buy my short ribs at Costco and always double the recipe - we hardly every have leftovers because everyone loves these so much.

I have been making these meatballs for a few years now and cannot begin to tell you how GOOD they are. I get compliments on them every time I serve them and even have a contractor who insists I call him whenever I make them so he can come over and have a few. I usually subsitute ground turkey breast for the veal, just to lighten them up a bit, and I bake mine in the oven at 350 for 20 minutes, but other than that, I make them as is. I cannot recommend these enough. YUM!

This is AMAZING bread. So moist and flavorful - and somehow it gets the nicest, sweet, slightly crunchy top on it when it bakes. I've made it twice - and both times didn't have applesauce - so I just substituted all pumpkin. It's delicious. Thanks for sharing such a healthy and tasty recipe!

Very good - I had to add more milk as my mixture was a little too dry to knead... I also left off the egg wash and topped the unbaked scones with a cinnamon sugar mixture. These were great scones and made a perfect light dinner with homemade applesauce!

These are SO delicious. I make them every year for gifts at Chrismastime. Wrapped in cello bags with a ribbon they are the perfect gift to have on hand for unexpected guests or last minute exchanges. I never change a thing. Thanks for sharing this great recipe!

Delicious! I made this in the slow cooker - on low for 8 hours. It was so tender and flavorful. I omitted the celery and used the whole gravy packet, as well as substituting cream of celery soup. Turned out fabulous. My roast was a chuck roast. This will be my roast recipie from now on!

This was very yummy, although the roast didn't get as tender as I had hoped - probably not a fault of the recipe, but of my preparation or length of time cooked. Served this to company and everyone enjoyed it. I'll for sure try it again.

WOW! This is one delicious pie! I didn't change a thing, but I did make sure the apples were very thinly sliced as was recommended in other reviews. I used my apple peeler/corer/slicer and it made the apples just the right size. I'm not usually wild about apple pie, but this one is perfect - it's my recipe from now on!

Oh my STARS!!! This is one incredible cake! I made it for dinner guests on Tuesday, and my husband asked me to make it again on Thursday. We are not a family of cake eaters, yet we cannot get enough of this. So YUMMY! The first time I was out of almond extract, so I used rum extract and it was delicious. The second time I used almond and it was equally good. It does tend to run over - I put a little less in the pan the second time around and had no problems. I also baked it at 375 the second time because the first time it took about 20 minutes longer than the recipe stated. This is from now on my chocolate cake recipe...

These turned into something that resembled a really thick stew. The flavor was good, but I was expecting pork chops. I couldn't even lift them out of the crock pot without them falling apart. Not a bad recipe, just not what I expected.

I thought these were okay - certainly not the best cookie I've ever had. If I made them again, I'd probably substitute margarine for the butter - my cookies spread WAY too much - they were all over the cookie sheet. I also thought they were way too salty - would cut the salt in half.

My family enjoyed this - I used reduced fat sausage for the filling and fat free evaporated milk instead of the half-and-half in the white sauce to make it a little more healthy. It turned out great. I think next time I will add some mozzarella for added flavor. I used all the garlic and thought it was perfect!

I made this for our annual Valentine's Day brunch and it was a HUGE hit. I also used only 1/4 cup of butter and it turned out great. I LOVE it and could eat it every day. I used fresh mushrooms that I sauteed with the garlic and onion. I will make this one again for sure!

This is a GREAT recipe. I made it for a girlfriend and she went back for second, which she never does! The dressing is fabulous - the simplicity of the whole thing is wonderful. I used little grape tomatoes, cut in half and they were tasty and pretty!
