Jalapeno Popper Spread

I have made this dozens of times, literally. I somtimes add more jalapenos (up to 4 oz) and use the baked version when I am taking it somewhere and the microwave when it's just for home. I have NEVER taken it somewhere and not been asked for the recipe! In fact, now that I have given out the recipe I have to make sure no one else is making it before I take it to get togethers!! My fave thing to serve it with is toasted baguette but it's good on just about ANYTHING!

Potato Casserole II

I made this recipe withouth the crushed chips on top... only because I didn't have chips on hand. Even without the chips, I rate this 5 stars! I will try it next time with the chips as I see how they could only make the great recipe better. Thanks for sharing!

Peanut Butter Eggs II

The only change I made to this recipe was that I used microwave-ready dipping chocolate instead of chips and shortening just to save a little bit of time. These were a huge hit. The only thing.... they were SUPER rich! (not a bad thing, though!) the next time I make them, I will make smaller eggs as the richness makes it impossible for me to eat an entire egg. :-)

Shredded French Dip

This was easy to make and the whole family loved it. We followed the recipe as written except we added mushrooms just because we like mushrooms on our beef sandwiches. All we did was throw them in the cooker near the end. I don't think they changed the flavor of the recipe overall, they were just an added bonus that suits our particular tastes. I can also see other great possibilities using this recipe as a base, too, but it's so good the way that it is that I would be hesitant to tinker with it even though I generally tinker with recipes a great deal. When I asked my husband for a review of this one he said "the only I problem with the recipe was that I had to remind our son to swallow before stuffing his mouth again". Our entire family from age 4 to 44 was pleased with this one and we will definitely make it again!!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

I love this recipe! I've made it many times and rarely are there leftovers. I do add potatoes and carrots to mine and when I have it, I use beef broth instead of water for a richer flavor. I've shared this recipe with many friends and everyone always raves about it. So much more flavor than a typical pot roast with no effort at all!

Pork Chops with Raspberry Sauce

I really enjoyed this easy way to liven up pork chops. I have made these several times now. I feel like I'm serving something "gourmet" that takes only a few minutes more than just throwing the chops on the grill or in the oven.

Grill Dough

Caramel Popcorn

This is perfection in caramel corn, and pretty easy to make. I added nuts to one batch, and none to another and it is great either way. This recipe's best friend is the fairly new "non-stick" aluminum foil. Line your pan in the non-stick foil and there is no mess to clean up and it doesn't stick to the foil as it cools! That foil is amazing, especially for this sticky recipe. Yum, yum, yum. Thanks for the excellent recipe!!

Old Fashioned Peach Cobbler

Well worth the effort. I will use this recipe for "filling" for pies as well. Excellent flavor. And the next time I make it as a cobbler, I will double the crust recipe because the flavor in this crust was amazing! Sweeter than a pie crust but not "cakey" like some cobbler recipes. Served this with company over and I was disappointed that there were no leftovers!!

Crispy Cucumbers and Tomatoes in Dill Dressing

We enjoyed this salad very much, though I had to make a few modifications just because of what I had on hand. I used "salad vinegar" instead of cider, because that is what I had. Also, didn't have fresh dill so I used dried but doubled the amount and also didn't ahve a red onion, so I used a Vidalia (sweet white) one instead. I wish I'd had the red onion, but it was good this way as well.

Watergate Cake III

This is very simple and delicious. I love anything with pistachio pudding and I think I could eat the entire bowl of the topping without even bothering with the cake. I did use the coconut and the nuts because the only think I like better than pistachio pudding is coconut... so this is a perfect recipe for me. I can tell it'd be just fine without those, though.

Kerry's Beany Salad

This is fantastic. I served it as a side dish today, but I think it is hearty enough to be a main course for a light summer meal! The flavors all work very well together and it is hard to believe all of the nutrition it packs! This will become a staple in our house for certain. I followed the recipe as is with the only alteration being the amount of water I cooked the barley in. The package on my barley indicated a different grain/water ratio to cook so I used those directions to be sure I didn't end up with barley that was too watery.

Peach Salsa

This is a wonderful fruit salsa. I noticed another reviewer said the person submitting this recipe didn't know what salsa was and what it was supposed to taste like. I think the reviewer doesn't know what you're supposed to do with FRUIT salsas. This is wonderful on pork chops and chicken from the grill. This is NOT salsa to dip your chips in! Wonderful flavor, great way to use up the abundance of wonderful fresh local peaches on my kitchen counter. Thanks for sharing your recipe.
