Kool-Aid(R) Pie
Where has this recipe been all my life? Fabulous! I only had chocolate graham crackers, so I tried raspberry KoolAid with a few fresh berries on top. Off the charts good! I'm going to make a couple to bring to the Labor Day picnic this weekend.

Quick Pickled Jalapeno Rings
These are simply fabulous! When you use up the jalepenos,save the juice and slice up some onions really thin and add to the jar. Also good for cucumbers! We sometimes buy the mini English cukes from Sam's and they go south before we can use them all, so I cut some in chunks or spears. I'm telling you, the used jalepeno juice is liquid gold around here! For those who want the peppers to have less heat, lay the slices out on your board then poke out the seeds and membranes with an apple corer. Easy-Peasy!!

Banana Crumb Muffins
I've made these several times and we love them. I did a little tweaking this time. I did as other reviewers and upped the cinnamon and added vanilla. Used canola oil instead of butter. I added about 3/4 cup of walnuts, too. For me, the recipe made 12 regular muffins and 12 minis. To keep us from porking out on them, I'll offer some to my salon clients. That should help my tip jar!
