Chicken and Dumplings III

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2012
Very good basic recipe! I used turkey leftovers in it and took some advice from another reviewer by sauteing garlic and onions with some poultry seasonings, then adding turkey and cooking in a 2 cups of broth before adding 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup, frozen corn and peas. I cut up the biscuits and mixed them in. I kept it covered for a bit before taking the cover off. Awesome.

I couldn't find peaches (cheap) since they were out of season, so I just made this with apples! Delicious! Can't wait to try it with Peaches!

Pumpkin-Carrot Rice

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2009
This was ok. I followed the recipe exactly. HOwever, I found the clove flavor to be kind of strong and I was expecting it to be sweet for some reason.

Stuffed Cornish Hens

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2008
This was my first time making stuffed cornish hens. I made the recipe exactly as called for for the stuffing. I used the http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Apricot-Glazed-Cornish-Hens/Detail.aspx Apricot-Glazed Cornish Hens for a glaze. It was phenominal. They looked, smelled and tasted great! I doubled the recipe and it was perfect for 8 hens with a little stuffing left over.

I doubled this recipe, although it was good, the sour cream was a very strong part of the taste.

Garlic Pork Roast

Easy to make, and very tasty. Although next time, I will put some brown sugar on the sweet potatoes. I like them very very sweet.

Brown Sugar Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2004
This was a great recipe. I made about 9 chops. I did not have soy sauce, so I used Worchestersire instead. I just layer the chops, moving them around periodically.
