Decorator Frosting

outstanding! I slightly moistened my knife so that it spread smoothly- very sweet and dries very well so you can stack cookies. I used the best rolled sugar cookies from this site- another winner.

We love this! I have tried it with the cream of mushroom soup in the gravy and without- I think we like it with as it makes things a bit thicker. The pork chops are falling off the bone so you do have to be careful transferring them to the oven. Good over rice or egg noodles and leftovers were wonderful (discarded the bones before I stored the pork with the gravy).

Really good- I added some red pepper and a can of bamboo shoots (for texture). When I make it again I will put some chopped scallions or cilantro on top as it needed some color contrast.

Slow Cooker Reuben Dip

This was a hit during the Superbowl. I served it with tortilla chips and added 1 cup of milk because I wanted a thinner dip- it did great in the crockpot on low during the whole game.

Shrimp Chowder

Wonderful!!! I used O'Brien potatoes and corn as recommended and a bit of crushed red pepper. Delicious and very hearty with crusty bread!

Chocolate Cavity Maker Cake

Honey Garlic Ribs

Not sure what happened- I followed this to the letter (other than using a baking dish instead of a cookie sheet per others recommendations) and my ribs were tough and chewy. Flavor was good, but hard to enjoy when you are working so hard to chew.

Spinach and Orzo Salad

Super! I used fresh basil but otherwise followed the recipe. Easy and beautiful appearance with the red onion and spinach colors. Only thing I will change next time is some minced garlic.

Blue Cheese Burgers

OUTSTANDING! Made them exactly by the recipe but then added a mayo I made with bottled hot wing sauce and mayo mixed together and fresh lettuce. My husband and I will be making these again- definitely good enough for company and gourmet enough flavor to serve with a glass of wine.

Peachy Mustard Pork Chops

Wonderful flavor with pork chops- very flavorful but not overwhelming. Easy and no need for marinade time. Only change I made was some cracked pepper and kosher salt on the chops prior to grilling/basting.

Southern Praline Pecan Cake

This cake is super moist and stayed that way for days. We added a simple glaze on top with powdered sugar and milk- this is the cake version of pecan pie.

Southern Grilled Barbecued Ribs

Outstanding! The sauce was good and we added a bit extra hot sauce. I was skeptical when I took them out of the oven before basting on the grill because they didn't look that appetizing, but once the sauce was on them they were excellent and beautiful.
