Buffalo Chicken Soup

My husband, who is very critical of any cooking (because its not like his "moms") Told me after I made this for him that it was "phenomenal"! Wow, it only took 10 yrs of cooking to get that outta him. This soup is quite tasty, I will say it does not look appealing as it cooks! I did sub in 1% milk, who needs the fat from half/half, added a little more cheese, used chix broth instead of boulion water and sifted in more flour towards the end to thicken it more. Very good:)

Crispy Herb Baked Chicken

Very good! My husband loved this. I baked on a rack till chicken done, then broiled on low each side for about 3-5 min. This really crisped it up and added a golden color, sooo good.

Garlic Chicken

This is a very good chicken dish. Bake on a rack to avoid most those pesky chicken juices when cooking..yuk! Can flip chick and low broil last 5-7 min to crisp up a bit. Very tender and savory.

Teriyaki Marinade

This was yummy, only four stars because its sooo salty. I think I drank a gallon of water that night and still didn't use the bathroom till morning! Whew! Next time lil more sugar, lil less soy.

Cheddar Bay Biscuits

These were pretty good, I probably almost trippled the cheese! I like me some chedder:) added pinch more garlic...yum. my son loved them...he said mommy next time don't put the leaves on the top..lol! I said that's just parsley hun, he wasn't convinced:)

Pecan Breaded Chicken Breasts

I liked this recipe, good flavor. I baked chicken on rack until thoroughly cooked, then placed in skillet with cooking spray to crisp it more. Served with cornbread. Next time I might used salted pecans to give it more a sweet n salty flavor. You do need to chop nuts finely in processor, sticks fine.

Ten Minute Szechuan Chicken

This was good, after I changed it a bit...I thought it was sooo salty and kinda bitter. I always cook my chicken in the skillet with small amt olive oil and chicken seas. prepare sauce stovetop separate pan. I tried adding more sugar, still bitter, so in the end I actually had to add about 1/4 c honey to balance flavor. Added some red pepper flakes for a little spice....really good after that. Maybe I just like sauce a bit sweeter, but even after honey this sauce was so bitter before it helped alot and wasn't even that sweet.

Caramelized Baked Chicken

Oh so good...I used this as a stir fry, I cubed my chicken and cooked in skillet just 1 tbsp olive oil i used cooking spray after that to decrease fat. The sauce I prepared in a pot on stovetop, I doubled recipe cuz my hubby likes saucy stuff! Let it come to a boil then on low stirring with a wisk. Some say this just wont thicken so I tried the cornstarch..some help, I actually sifted in a small amt of flour and that made it perfect. I poured the sauce over chick in skillet to simmer then cut green/red peppers and onions and added at the end. Served over rice, this sauce is so good and versatile, prepare it stovetop and possibilities are endless..thanks for this recipe!

Not too bad, very spicy! Hold back on the cumin though, whoa! Next time will half cumin and I added garlic powder....was good served with steamed broccoli

Chicken and Broccoli Braid

This is really good and looks so nice when it comes outta the oven. I used only one pack crescent roll, otherwise it woulda been enormous! I was cooking for two. I always use a bit more cheese and when i cook my chicken i add Mrs dash chicken seas..so flavorful. Two tsp is plenty of dill, don't overuse unless you want it tart! Overall very yummy:)
