Taco Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2014
LOVED IT!! This is such an easy and quick dinner for weeknights! I usually try to follow the recipe to a T, especially when it's my first time making it, however I did stray a bit...I used ground turkey instead of ground beef and added a can of Goya black beans for extra protein. I also took the advice of one reviewer and put a cup of the crushed tortillas on the bottom w/some cheese and baked it for 5 minutes, added everything else in, and then about a 1/2 cup on top with a little more cheese. I will definitely make this again! Thanks Debi Van Name!!

Easy Peach Crisp II

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2012
I made this on a whim, because I had fresh white peaches from a local farm in my town. I only used 3 (because they were HUGE!) I didn't want to use canned peaches (that's just me!) I have to agree with some of the comments, that this is more of a cobbler than a "crisp" I added brown sugar to the top of it and also baked it a little longer than the 30-40 minutes. It turned out GREAT!! So many complitments on it! Can't wait to make it again next summer!!!

Passover Apple Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2012
i read all the reviews and agree that the batter needs to be doubled. i made it 3 times in a week, once to try it, second for passover, and third for easter sunday! first go was ok, too much nutmeg tho. i cut that to about less than a 1/2 a teaspoon. the second & third time i doubled the batter, cut back on the nutmeg, and added more brown sugar to the middle with the apples (which i only used about 4-5 apples), and on top, BETTER!! everyone raved about it at both dinners! i will definitely make this again!!!!!
