Cabbage Rolls

I love this recipe. It's the exact same that has been in my family for over 50 years.

Sesame Seared Tuna

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2011
This was absolutely delicious. The dipping sauce was phenomenal. This was the first time I made seared tuna and now...it'll be on our dinner list each week. The only problem I had was the smoke from the oil but I think that was my fault not the recipe's.

Brunch Scramble

Reviewed: May 22, 2010
Pretty good! I added fresh jalapeƱos, minced garlic, and since I didn't have mushrooms...I added some crumbled bacon and used swiss instead of cheddar.

Tomato Pepper Steak

Wow! This recipe was awesome. I used flat iron steak and I didn't have ginger powder so I used some ginger salad dressing that I had. Wow!

Divine Hard-Boiled Eggs

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2012
These are THE BEST eggs I have ever made! I went exactly by the recipe...no salt, no vinegar. If you put the eggs in the pot at the VERY beginning and follow this recipe EXACTLY you will also have perfect eggs to eat!

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2008
Pretty good. I browned the beef first, then the onion and mushrooms. I used a can of Campbell's mushroom soup with garlic and threw it all on the crock pot.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2007
This is super yum! Since it's just me, I cut it to 2 servings. I'm not big on Parmesan, so I just sprinkled dried Parmesan in the bowl and used Mozzarella cheese instead. I used celery bits instead of salt and added Panko bread crumbs. I think next time I will let the fish sit in lemon juice since I enjoy the lemon taste.

Beef, Green Chili and Tomato Stew

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2007
Yum,Yum,Yum! This is soooo good! I made a few changes. I browned the meat, onions, and garlic and put it in the crockpot instead of cooking them on the stove. I feel that it could of used a bit more beer, so next time I'll use a whole bottle for 3 servings instead of half a bottle.

Fried Pork Chop

You can't go wrong with Southern fried pork chops. I add a lemon pepper seasoning and garlic powder to mine.

Cheesy Chicken Bundles

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2014
I'm in the middle of eating this recipe and had to leave a review. My boyfriend LOVES it. I used Neufchatel cheese instead of cream cheese just to save on calories and it was still delicious. I used fresh mushrooms and threw in some red onion. Oh..my..goodness. Thank you so much! I'll be making this again!

Melissa's Green Chile Stew

Not bad. I added about 16 oz of beef broth since I wanted more of a soup.

Dirt Cake I

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2009
I give this 4 out of 5. The reason is because I've had it before (in high school in the cafeteria of all places) and it was better. They used more whipped cream and it was lighter and not so rich.

Perfect Flat Iron Steak

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2008
This was a pretty good recipe. I only give it 4 stars because it seems like something is missing. As someone else said, you are sort of trying to figure out the taste. I'll try other things to add or take out. A pretty good steak though.

Tender Tomato Chicken Breasts

This was a pretty good recipe! I cut it down to 2 servings and it was still a little watery but that was the only issue! It was very easy, tender, and tasty!

Pork Green Chile

Reviewed: May 23, 2010
This was a little too runny for me. I had to add flour to thicken it up. Other than that, I thought it was pretty good and hubby loved it.

Chewy Oatmeal Cookies I

I wasn't impressed. I followed the recipe exactly and they weren't chewy at all! There was way more flour taste than oatmeal.

Crunchy Oven Fried Tilapia

Reviewed: May 25, 2010
I followed the recipe exactly...and I have to say it's honestly the worst thing I have ever cooked. I have never given a 1 star review and feel awful doing so but if you follow this exactly...it's pretty bad. There was no taste; it tasted the same as eating plain unseasoned breading. I'm sure it's totally different if you add spices but as is...it's pretty bad.
