About this Cook
I love cooking and entertaining and I love trying new recipes. I make something new at least once a week. I'm always looking at recipe books or online for new recipes to try on my family. I have two teenage boys and a husband that loves my cooking. I am also a gardener, and just recently started growing my own herbs.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook anything with garlic. Not much of a baker, but I do like to make breads (no sweet tooth here).
My favorite family cooking traditions
Me and my husband enjoy cooking and planning meals and often spend a Saturday night cooking in the kitchen together while enjoying a glass of wine. We'll decide on a theme for the evening and spend the night cooking up a storm.

Anniversary Chicken I
Excellent! I made this for a birthday party for 20 people and everyone loved it. I used real bacon and I didn't add the bacon, green onions and cheese until the last 15 minutes. This was such an easy recipe to make and the chicken was so tender. Will definitely make again.

Chicken Chimichangas with Sour Cream Sauce
This was good and easy to make. My husband wanted me to double the spices after reading some of the reviews, so I did and it wasn't too spicy. I let the liquid simmer as mentioned in the directions and it didn't take that long. I don't know what the big deal is. I used chicken stock instead of the chicken bouillon. Instead of frying I brushed each chimichanga with olive oil and baked in my convection oven at 400 until browned about 10 minutes. We all loved. I will definitely make this again. I might try it next time in the slow cooker.
