They are sweet, salty, warm, and crunchy all at the same time. Perfect snack.

Honey Lemon Tea

My husband does not like tea. I do. I found this recipe a couple of days before my husband came down with a cold. I made him try it for coughing and sore throat and now it's like the only thing he wants when he's sick. I probably made it for him 15 times the first time he was sick. I love to cuddle up with it and read a book no matter if I'm sick or not. It's just great "tea"

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2009
This recipe was really great and easy to fix. My husband said it moved to #1 on his list and asked me to cook it next week too. Since it was only the two of us, I only used three chicken breasts but the same amount of sauce the recipe called for. We used all the sauce up just the two of us.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

I made this exactly like the recipe except I sprayed the aluminum with cooking spray. My husband really enjoyed it even though he's not a big fish person. It had lots of flavor, but not that strong fish taste. One of my favorite fish recipes.

3-Cheese Mostaccioli Bolognese

Wow. This is a really good pasta dish that seems to be an in between of lasagna and spaghetti. The cheese tomato sauce tastes great. I have made this a few times and I always double the amount of vegetable. You can add mushrooms, olives, squash if you like. Just saute them in with the meat. Great as a company dish and easy to make.

For those who think it's too salty, you may want to use unsalted butter. Just a thought.

Chimichurri Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2008
Wow. This would be great with any meat. I made the simple roasted chicken recipe from this site that recommened this sauce to go with it, and my husband and I loved it. We will use this combo again and again. We made leftover chicken sandwhiches with it and they were wonderful.

Simple Whole Roasted Chicken

This chicken was amazing! It was moist and thender. I made the sauce recommened to go with it, and wow, my husband and I will make this over and over. The only thing was some of the drippings burned in the bottom of the pan and created a lot of smoke. This may be because of the such high temps for cooking.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2007
This recipe is the bomb. My only problem is that I think I cooked the hot mixture either to long or not long enough because it was really think and didn't seep down into the pie when I poured it over the top. It tasted great though and made a crunchy top. I added two tsp. of apple pie spice to the mixture as it was heating along with some vanilla and the flavor was to die for. The best apple pie I ever had. I'm making this for Thanksgiving! Next time I'll mix some of the mixture into the apples first then spread a little on top of the crust.
