Chicken or Turkey Tetrazzini Deluxe

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2004
Yummy! I left out the mushrooms, but used Campbell's Golden Mushroom condensed soup. Also used Colby Jack cheese since my husband can't eat cheddar. Skipped the greased casserole dish and put my large shallow saucepan right in the oven, so I only had 2 dirty pans. Overall a great recipe which I look forard to making again. Thanks!

Coconut Cream Pound Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2004
This was good, not great. The coconut flavor was subtle. With such a high price in fat/calories, I think I'll keep looking. Thanks.

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2004
These were ok. My husband really liked them, but I found them to be cake-like and buttery instead of fudgey and chocolately. I may try again, but I think I'll keep looking. Thanks, Angie.

Easy Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2004
This was pretty good. I added baby carrots to cook with it, and stirred in parmesean/romano cheeses before serving. I will still try out similar recipes, but would be happy to serve this again. Thanks, Linda!

Graham Streusel Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2004
Very good. My guests raved about this cake, but personally I really missed the tang of sour cream coffee cakes. I'll probably keep looking for other recipes, but I wouldn't mind serving this again. Thanks, Judy!

Jean's Marinated Mushrooms

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2004
I personally don't like mushrooms, but brought these to a BBQ. People seemed to like them, although I still took home quite a few. Thanks for the recipe.

Caramelized Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2004
Very good, though it took longer to cook than stated. I used chicken breast strips, and the leftovers were great in a stir-fry with carrots and green beans, over white rice. Delicious and versatile. Thanks!

Carrot Pineapple Cake I

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2004
Very good, even though I made it without the walnuts or frosting. I'm eager to try it with the nuts, and with less fat, and maybe some whole wheat flour to give it more texture. Thanks!

Yummy! I like the versatility of the pudding mix. I used butterscotch pudding this time, and next time I'll try coconut. Thanks!

Fantastic! A new favorite. I like its versatility-- next time I may add green beans or rutabega. Thanks!

Oatmeal Pancakes II

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2004
Very good, but not spectacular. I used milk soured with lemon juice in place of the buttermilk, and topped them with blackberry syrup. Yum! I look forward to tweaking this, as it is our new default recipe. Thanks!

Luscious Spinach Artichoke Dip

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2004
Very, very good. I was told it's the best ever, though I thought it seemed to be missing something. It was delicious anyway, and it was all eaten very quickly. This will probably be my default recipe, though I may tinker with it. Thanks!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

This IS awesome! I have made it a few times, and my husband and I always love it! I usually add some carrots and celery in the slow-cooker too. THANK YOU, Brenda!

Spanish Rice II

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2004
I hate to say it, but I didn't care for this much. I think I prefer plain white rice as a palate cleanser to accompany more spicy mexican dishes. Thanks anyway.

Ground Beef Enchiladas

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2004
Pretty good, although I'm accustomed to using a tomato-based enchilada sauce. I loved using the Cream of Chicken soup though. I'll probably be combining this recipe with my own recipe using enchilada sauce. Thanks, Vanessa!

Incredible! Every time I make this, I get rave reviews. I even scaled it down to 2 so that my husband and I can enjoy it alone. Thank you!

English Muffins

Very good. Lacked the "nooks and crannies" that I'm used to, but still yummy. I'll probably use this recipe instead of buying them at the store. Thanks!

Hearty Breakfast Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2004
Very good! I left out the raisins, as a personal preference; and used all-purpose flour instead of whole wheat. They have more fat than I'd like to start my day with, but I'm sure I'll make them again for convenience. Thanks, Janet!
