I am a proud Army wife to my first love and Junior High School sweetheart and we have been married for 15 years.We have 3 amazing children ages 11,13 and 15.I was a line cook for about 4 years and worked in Food Service for almost 7 but quit to be a homemaker and support my husband's Military career.
My favorite things to cook
I love anything Asian inspired particularly American-Chinese food which I have had to learn to make on my own due to leaving our hometown where,in our opinion, the best Chinese Food comes from.I make awesome Pork Fried Rice,Chicken 7 Shrimp Chow Mein,Chicken Fingers and Crab Rangoon.I like to make Stir Fry and anything that allows me to use exotic seasonings and my wok!
My husband loves Italian and it is actually probably my number one specialty.He loves my Spaghetti Carbonara and Chicken Parm but I prefer my homemade Spaghetti Sauce with Pepperoni and Sweet Italian Sausages and the kids love my Alfredo Sauce served with Chicken or Shrimp and served over bow ties=)
Recently I have been trading in my natural New England food tendencies for more country and Southern types of foods such as Cream and Sausage Gravy, Biscuits,Chicken Fried Steak and Fried Chicken.
I also really enjoy Good Old Fashioned Comfort food like Beef Stroganoff,Swedish Meatballs and Beef Tips and Gravy over Noodl
