The Whole Jar of Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2009
THESE ARE AN ABSOLUTE TASTE DELIGHT. I DIDN'T ADD THE PEANUTS AS I USED THE CHUNKY PEANUT BUTTER AND I ADDED BUTTERSCOTCH CHIPS IN THEIR PLACE. OUT OF THIS WORLD GOOD.

Fabulous Fried Cabbage

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2008
This is a very good way to do cabbage. The one change I make is to cook the cabbage in Onion Soup. Delish.

Pretzel Turtles

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2008
These are the greatest and so easy. I use Rolos and the little square pretzels. Be sure to toast the pecans before making... adds that extra special flavor.

Margarita Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2008
Absolutely devine...rich, moist and delicioulsy flavorful. I used the lemon cake mix as well as lemon pudding. I pierced the cake top with a large fork while still warm and drizzled part of the glaze on top. When the cake was completely cool I thickened the remaining glaze and drizzled the cake with all the remianing glaze. Lip smacking good.

Belle and Chron's Spinach and Mushroom Quiche

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2006
This is one very tasty/healthy quiche. I saute'd the onions & mushrooms and then added the spinach until wilted. Also added only one cup of light cream and increased the eggs to 5. It was done to perfection and everyone gobbled it up. A sure keeper for my recipe book.

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2006
This was the best and so simple to make. I placed the ribs in a crock pot with beef STOCK, onion, garlic and diced carrots and cooked them on low all night. In the morning the meat almost fell apart. I added 3 to 4 ladles of the stock, Jack Daniels Original BBQ sauce as well as Sweet Baby Ray's Original and his new Hickory & Brown Sugar BBQ sauces. Refrigerated all day to blend flavors and reheated for about 45 min. before serving. Served on Kaiser rolls with a side of cole slaw and dill pickles. This is a keeper..... YUM!

Easy Apple Crisp

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2006
Made the Easy Apple Crisp for Super Bowl. I followed the recipe exactly. Wow! Soooo delish...not a crumb left. I used Granny Smith apples and I was afraid they might be a little too tart. Not the case. Next time I will make two as everyone was looking for more of it to eat and the plate was empty. A definite keeper.

Awesome Roast Beef

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2005
Wonderful and full of flavor. I marinated the roast in McCormick's Meat Marinate overnite. The next morning I put carrots, potatoes, mushrooms and the roast in my crock pot. I added one can each of Cream of Mushroom soup, Garlic Cream of Mushroom soup, Beef Broth and an envelope of Liptons Onion Soup and 1/4 to 1/2 a cup of Merlot wine. Then I sprinkled with garlic powder. Cooked for 8 hours. Everyone loved it. The only thing I would do different next time is to prick the meat with a cooking fork so more juices/flavor would penetrate the meat. Great reviews by my guests.

This was a winner at our dinner party last night. Everyone loved the chicken. Followed the recipe exactly and baked the chicken covered with foil at 350 degrees for 45 min. then uncovered and baked for 20 minutes. So moist and full of flavor. This is a definite keeper.
