Good, and flexible - can add different sodas or juices.

Apple Cake in a Jar

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2007
Tasty, but a little strange. After it stores for a while the cake shrinks and there is noticeable liquid in the jar. I would not recommend storing them for more than a few weeks.

Tastes like cake mix to me but my husband and his coworkers loved them. Super easy to make!

Easy and Delicious Chicken and Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2011
Good, but not much flavor. Could be the "healthy" cream of chicken soup I used. Or that I left out the dry onion soup mix and tried spicing it up with my own spices. Added a couple handful of frozen veggies. In the future I'd add a little more rice also.

Cream of Chicken Soup From Scratch

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2011
Made it with extra garlic and spices and it tasted good. However, I have no idea how anyone can make it without lumps by following this recipe. I had to blend it to make it smooth. Next time I will try to whisk the hot mix into the milk mix like another reviewer suggested.

Not necessarily a pretty pie, at least how I cooked it. But very tasty.

Turkey Tetrazzini II

Reviewed: Feb. 29, 2012
A little bland but good. Next time I'd spice it up with salt, pepper, more onion and garlic and load up on the veggies. Makes a lot!

Fortune Cookies I

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2009
Added the 2 Tbsp butter and a little water like other reviewers talked about. It was a little tricky to get the right shape but a couple more batches and I think I'd get it.

Irish Soda Bread I

Not a typical soda bread, but very good. Made it in a loaf pan because it was so moist.

Apple Butter I

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2007
Still pretty sweet after reducing the sugar, but good! After reading comments from others, I did not peel the apples but ran the mixture through the blender after it had cooked. Turned out perfectly and much less work!

Whole Wheat Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2007
A little heavy for my taste, but my husband loved them. I used all wheat flour, added cinnamon, ginger and applesauce. Also threw in raisins and cranberries. They keep very well for over a week.

Fluffy French Toast

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2011
Really fluffy, this will be my new go-to recipe. However, I'd leave out the sugar. The syrup or toppings would be sweet enough.
