Super Easy Rosemary Bread Machine Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2013
We are fans! Not too herb-y and turned out fluffy. I think the bread machine instructions trump the directions here. I followed my bread machine instructions (liquid, dry and yeast on top) and it turned out great. I did the dough setting and made rolls baking at 350 for 15 after brushing the tops with butter and sprinkling with sea salt. Delicious.

Made these on a whim last night and three adults ate half the pan. So good and fairly easy to make. Love these!

Blueberry Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2013
This recipe doesn't necessarily need another fantastic review, but I still feel the need to add. This "bread" is more like manna from heaven. You don't just eat it, your mouth makes love to it. Like other reviewers, I did use half applesauce, half oil. I used oats, brown sugar, flour and butter for a topping and will def use this recipe again.

Quick Gnocchi

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2013
This was great! Pretty quick, easy to cook and delicious. The only reason it got 4 stars was not everyone LOVED them.

Creamy Frosting

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2013
So glad I tried this! I made my stepdaughter's cupcakes last year with swiss buttercream and she WILL NOT let me forget she doesn't like the not sweet frosting! I was hoping to find something between swiss and regular buttercream and this fit the bill. She loved it andI don't think it's cloyingly sweet. I didn't think it would be good for decorating, but it held up well. I made a few roses to test it out and they've held up well. Thanks for this recipe!

Fresh Strawberry Cheesecake Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2013
This was good... not great. It just made us want cheesecake. The filling amount didn't seem off as other reviewers suggested. A deep dish pie pan is required. I was not a fan of the strawberry glaze. I was just disappointed by the outcome. It seemed like it would be so good, but fell flat.

Modenese Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2013
We thought this was fantastic. Even with dried rosemary, the flavor imparted well. It is important to watch the temp on the meat to get it cooked without being overdone. Thank you for a great recipe we'll use again and again!

Ah-Mazing! I followed the recipe exactly for the filling. We used mashed potatoes for the top and the leftovers were fought over! Thank you for a fantastic recipe!

Easy Yummy Chinese Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2013
Fantastic starting point. I made a couple tweaks. I reduced the vegetable oil and will use olive oil next time. I add a couple tablespoons of sesame oil. I used grilled chicken breasts that were marinated in soy sauce, garlic, citrus juice, and wine. With those changes, this recipe is a keeper!

Honey-Ginger Grilled Salmon

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2013
I loved this... the family did as well. One of my salmon haters said she liked it. the other said it made salmon tolerable. That's a very HIGH compliment from him! Followed the recipe and grilled it. Will be using again! Thank you.

Thai Orange Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2013
Family loved it! I made a few slight changes, hence the 4 star instead of 5. I used sesame oil instead of olive. I thought it looked as if there wasn't enough of most flavors, and read the review that said the flavor wasn't intense enough. I used 1/4 c orange juice concentrate and added water to equal 1/3 c. I added orange zest, used powdered ginger instead, which is usually stronger. I omitted the peanuts. I was told to put this into the repertoire. Great recipe with a few tweaks!

Quick Pasta Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2013
It was a good basic sauce. Family loved it. I did use chopped tomatoes (I didn't have crushed on hand) put through the blender a bit. I thought it needed a bit more, maybe paste would be good. I will use this recipe as the base for future sauces but will tweak it to our desired preference.

Children's Gingerbread House

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2008
This recipe is AMAZING! I could not stop eating the batter! I don't usually love gingerbread men, but these are heaven, just out of the oven. I didn't use this recipe for my gingerbread house, but will always use this for my men and piecrust for pumpkin pie (gingerbread crust is great for that). Thanks for the recipe!

Hamburger Gravy

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2007
I made this recipe for buscuits and gravy... the texture was great, but it had virtually no flavor. I had people over and no one cared for this gravy because it was so bland. We tried garlic powder and salt, which did help some, but this recipe needs to kick it up.

Baptist Grasshopper Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2007
This was so good... I recommend freezing it for an "almost ice cream" pie. I got creme de menthe flavoring (instead of regular mint) and used equal parts of that and the chocolate flavoring. It was superb and I'll make it again and again!

Vanilla Granola

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2007
This is a great recipe. I ran out of sesame seeds, so I used millet and I also added ground flax seeds. I've had to keep it stocked because my husband eats 2 bowls a day and still tells me how much he loves it.
