German Christmas Gingerbread

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2006
My husband and kids loved this bread! I substituted applesauce for the butter and egg beaters for the eggs, it was just delicious! I also cooked it in two loaf pans, so I'd be able to share!

Ham, Potato, and Cheese Soup

Maybe I did something wrong, but I did not like this soup. It was too plain.

Amish White Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2006
I thought this bread was very good and easy to make. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that my bread "fell" a bit after it finished raising in the loaf pans and I was putting it in the oven. Not sure if that was my fault or not, but still, very yummy!

Frozen Strawberry Yogurt

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2010
Very yummy! My husband loved it and said it tastes just like starburst! I used vanilla yogurt, though (all I had) and even made my own sweetened condensed milk (from powdered milk).

Fried Ice Cream

Reviewed: May 16, 2007
This was so much work, I doubt I will ever do it again. Also, I tried to do the coating twice, but most of it just fell off the secondo time. Lots of work, and time, but it did taste good.

Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2008
Yummy, yummy, yummy! I couldn't stop "snitching" the sauce. I was short on Dijon, so used half dijon half yellow mustard (doubled the recipe so we'd have lots for dipping, also put sauce on rice I made to accompany, delicious). I was also out of steak sauce, so did as another reviewer and used Worcestorshire (however it's spelled) sauce. The sauce would also be great for sandwiches, chicken nuggets, etc. I grilled mine on medium heat for about 7 minutes per side (direct heat).

Cheesy Potato Salad

Perfect when you are looking for something new and different from the regular old potato salad. Super easy, this was the first time I've ever made potato salad!

Vanilla Ice Cream V

Reviewed: May 30, 2006
This was far too "buttery" tasting and not nearly sweet enough. I'd suggest adding extra sugar and vanilla flavoring.

Chocolate-Covered OREO Cookie Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2010
Super easy and so tasty! My husband says the best cake I've ever made! I made a ganache for the top and decorated it to look like an actual Oreo, but followed the recipe for everything else!

Molten Chocolate Cakes With Sugar-Coated Raspberries

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2009
Awesome! I followed the directions exactly and they were perfect. My recommendation, though, is to use larger cupcake tins or ramekins. Normal cupcake size are just too small, and be sure to take them out of the oven when they still look "raw" in the middle or you won't have the "molten" chocolate. Thank you for the recipe! P.S. It was SO easy!!!

Connie's Zucchini "Crab" Cakes

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2008
DELICIOUS!!! I also recommend draining the zucchini first, and I added 1-1/2 tsp of the Old Bay. What a yummy way to use up extra zucchini!
