I usually switch off between 2 other recipes for biscuits that I have, but saw this and decided to try it. They puffed up nice and tasted good when hot out of the oven. As soon as they started to cool off, they weren't that great. My family asked me why I didn't make the usual ones. I usually make lots so they can have the leftovers in the morning with breakfast. They were hard and not very tasty. My family was not too happy and I used 3 cubes of butter because I tripled it which made it more expensive to make than using shortening. So I probably won't make these again.
