Chicken Breasts Pierre

I really enjoy this recipe. I have always made it just as is and my husband and nanny love it as well. The kids (all under 5) aren't huge fans, although I find if I boil up some pasta, shred the chicken and add some of the sauce (which I always double up on) they will eat it.

Beef Stew VI

Excellent stew! I took heed of other reviewers' notes and used half a cup of red wine to deglaze the pan, and I also used fresh rosemary (an entire package). I also enjoy parsnips in my stew, so I added 3 to the vegetables. One thing I found, however, was that the stew was too salty, so next time I try this I will use 3 bouillon cubes instead of four.

Greek Pasta Salad I

I modified this recipe, after trying it as described and hating it. I found the pepperoni greasy and overpowering. I omitted the pepperoni the second time I made it and it received rave reviews at a barbeque we held.

Red Chard and Caramelized Onions

This was the first time I tried cooking red chard, and I really enjoyed this. I had a friend over for dinner and she kept raving about it. The only thing I did was use a sweet wine (Muscato) instead of dry by accident! It still turned out delicious.

Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili

I really enjoyed this! This is the best home-made chili I've ever made. And it was soooo simple to make. The only thing I had a problem with was the american measurements (I'm from Toronto, Canada), so I just added: 1 large jar of salsa, 1 jar of tomato sauce (spaghetti sauce) and 1 full can of stewed tomatoes. I also added a packet and a third of chili powder, since I added much more sauce than suggested. I also diced some green and red pepper and added it to the mix.

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

Loved it! It was easy to prepare (and I'm a real novice cook) and tasted great. Next time I'll cut down on the sugar, though. 2/3rds of a cup was a bit much. I think I'll try a half cup.
