Asian Salmon

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2003
Great way to prepare salmon! My family and I eat salmon every week so I look for different ways to make it. I made this recipe exactly as it was written and marinated just over 1 hour. It came out perfectly--and smelled wonderful, too! Thanks for the great recipe!

My Chili

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2003
Very good chili--not at all hot. Goes perfect with fresh cornbread. I imagine if you wanted it hotter, you could very easily add hot spices to it and it would still taste good. Makes great leftovers, too. I wish it was a little bit thicker but overall very good chili.

Bobbie's Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2003
I used 2 cups oatmeal, 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, and walnuts (instead of pecans). Following the advice of other reviewers, I didn't grease the pans. I was able to make 60 cookies with the batter. I brought 3 dozen to work the very next day and they were gone in 3 hours! Terrific recipe--thanks Shannon!

Blueberry Buckle

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2003
Delicious! I followed the advice of other reviewers and put in 1 1/2 cups of flour to the batter and added vanilla. My husband was VERY impressed with it and couldn't stop himself from getting seconds or eating it again for breakfast! I will definitely make this again.

Souvlaki

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2003
Mmmm Mmmmm good! Yummy way to cook pork. We couldn't grill them so my husband broiled them in our oven but they were still delicious. Terrific dinner for the summer, goes well with rice.

Beef and Parmesan Pasta

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2003
Very tasta pasta dish. I love the way the pasta soaks up the tomato and beef broth. It's doesn't taste at all like pasta with spaghetti sauce. Excellent recipe--thanks Corwynn!

Chicken With Mushrooms

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2003
Very flavorful--I sauteed garlic and half of the mushrooms in olive oil before putting in the pan and added cream of mushroom (as suggested by others) to the broth. The rest of the meal consisted of extra wide egg noodles and steamed broccoli. My whole family loved it. I will DEFINITELY make this again!!

Beef Florentine

Easy, easy, easy. Next time I make this, I think I will saute the onions first. Reminds me of lasagne. I would definitely make this again.

Easy to make and my family really liked it. I didn't like the taste, but maybe the bread crumbs were too much...

Bread Machine Garlic Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2003
Very flavorful bread, especially if you like garlic. It collapsed in my bread maker, though--maybe I'll use less yeast next time I make it. I will definitely use this recipe next time I want to make garlic bread. Thanks for sharing this recipe!
