Peanut Butter Cookies IX

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2006
Lately I have been in a real cookie slump! No matter what kind I make, chocolate chip to sugar cookies, my husband says they are just "alright". This recipe put a end to that! They are delicious! No real changes made except that I didn't have whole wheat flour so I just used all-purpose. For the chips I used a bag of the REESE'S Premier Baking Pieces. They are tiny little Reese cups! I love those things! I also used 1/2 cup of milk chocolate chips. My husband and kids kept talking about how great they tasted. I had to make a new batch the next night. Thanks for getting me out of the "alright" cookie drought!

My Mother-in-Law's Cheese Sauce...ssshh Don't Tell Her

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2006
Fantastic! I made this to go over broccoli for dinner last night. I cut it down to 2 servings and there was plenty. Even drizzled a little on the rice as well. My kids asked for seconds! I guess next time I will have to make 2 bags of frozen broccoli so they can have thirds. Thanks for the great recipe!

Chocolate Banana Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2006
Yummy! I had company this weekend and wanted something easy for dessert. I had most of the ingredients on hand so I chose this recipe. I used a chocolate Ready Crust, left out the pecans, and used Cool Whip. I forgot the layer of Cool Whip over cream cheese so just added it all to the top, with chocolate shavings. It sliced up so nicely! Everyone loved it. I will make it again!

Chicken Scampi II

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2006
Delicious! Everybody loved it, four kids AND a picky husband. I used 5 huge chicken breast and increased the garlic to 4 gloves, and the lemon juice to 2 tablespoons. The chicken is so tender and tasty. Severed over linguine. Looking forward to the leftovers for lunch. It is definitely a keeper!

Cathy's Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2006
Fantastic! I have tried so many different banana bread recipes and have never found the “right one”, until now! This bread is super moist. I too made this with 3 bananas and just dumped everything one at a time into the electric mixer. I made two loaves one with nuts and one with out. This is a keeper, will be making it every time I have a hankering for some banana bread!

Broccoli Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2005
My family has never been into soup, and I have never made any kind. I had purchased alot of fresh broccoli when it was sale and wanted something to do with it. I found this recipe and took a shot at making it. Everyone LOVED it! I added extra Cheddar, just because we are cheese freaks. It was so easy and looked and smelled great. Will definitely make again!
