About this Cook
I am the mother of four beautiful daughters and three gorgeous granddaughters. My third daughter is now pregnant and we are hoping for a boy. I love to travel, read, stay informed, hang out with my family and help those less fortunate.
My favorite things to cook
Thanksgiving Dinner, Breakfast.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Making late, late, soup on Christmas Eve, a BIG Thanksgiving Dinner with my daughters and 4th of July Barb b que.
My cooking triumphs
I make a Christmas brunch for my girlfriends and I've made olive sandwhiches and a beef and barley soup people still talk about years later.
My cooking tragedies
When I first started cooking I undercooked chicken. Now I tend to over cook it.

Scott Hibb's Amazing Whisky Grilled Baby Back Ribs
I followed this recipe very closely and although it was good, I thought it was too tomato tasting and didn't have enough zip. I will admit that the ribs themselves were moist and tender.

Jamie's Cranberry Spinach Salad
I agree with everyone that this is definitely a winner. I felt the dressing was a little too sweet and would reduce the sugar next time.

Mrs. Sigg's Fresh Pumpkin Pie
This was excellent and had a creamy texture. I would use a little less sugar next time and used my own combination of nutmeg, ginger and cinnimon rather than premixed spice.
