Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Butterscotch Bread Pudding

I am not big on bread pudding as a rule, but when this came out of the oven and was warm....... oh it was so good. Loved the butterscotch!

Soul Smothered Chicken

chicken was very tender. I served with mashed potatoes for a easy hearty meal. I did add additional seasonings to taste.

While preparing this soup I was skeptical because it seemed so thin. But once it was finished and we added the chips and cheese it was very good. We like spicier foods, so next time I will add jalepenos.

Pepperoni Bread

We thought it was really good. Used refrigerater pizza dough because couldn't fine frozen bread as in recipe. Next time I will add some red pepper flakes.

Whit's Chicken Enchiladas

I needed a chicken dish for work but several people don't like spicey foods or peppers. I usually prefer corn tortilla enchiladas. But...these were great. Since I couldn't add the peppers I added chicken taco seasoning while boiling the chicken to add flavor. Everyone raved! I look forward to making them with the peppers as my family loves things hot and spicey.

D' Best Chicken N' Dumplings

Delish - but I did make a couple of small changes (4 Tbls shortening, used boneless chicken and used 2 tsp poultry seasoning). I used all of the dumplings and added flour to thicken liquid. I also made my dumplings in a food processor using the same process as when I make pie crust. Quick and Easy.

Old Fashioned Peach Cobbler

Really good but could not give 5 stars because I made changes in the recipe. I did not have any orange juice but I decided I did not need to add any more liquid as my fresh peaches produced a lot of juice while they were in the saucepan. In fact I did not pour all of the liquid over the crust because it would have been way too runny. I also did not try to lattice the crust and simply placed the crust over the peaches. Flavor was really good and my husband gave it a thumbs up. Will make again.

Baked Pork Chops I

my family really enjoyed these. I did skip the flour step and added fresh mushrooms just before pouring the soup mixture on top. I also did not have any wine so I used chicken broth. Yummy
