Quick Hoppin' John Soup
I gave this a 5 even tho I didn't care for it. I made it 1 New Years thinking it might make the bep's taste better. I just don't like bep's. But I was really impressed with the taste of the broth. I took the advice of another and sauted onion and celery in with the pork sausage. And added extra sage. Soooo I decided to try it with great northern beans. I added 3 cans drained and rinsed. And boy is that yummy. Can't get enough of it. I also added some kale to it. It is a great recipe either way. If you like bep's. lol

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings
I did not have 2 cans of cream of chicken soup. So I did 1 of cream of chicken and 2 of cream of celery. Had to put 2 cream of celery in because just 1 didn't cover enough. Also put in a can of broth instead of water. Half hour before it was done I added some corn starch and water to make a gravy out of it. I have to say this recipe was absolutely awesome. My husband said it was "good to the extreme". I will keep on making this, it was so good. Thank You for the recipe Janiece!

Easy and Delicious Chicken and Rice Casserole
I also make this with a few changes. I use cream of celery soup and dry onion and mushroom soup mix instead. I also chop a medium onion into the mixture. I mix all of this with 1 soup can of water and 1 soup can of milk. Mix it all til well blended. I put this in the casserole dish first then add the rice then the chicken. I also use chicken tenders instead of breasts. Also add salt and pepper to taste. Always comes out yummy. Maybe should have submitted a whole new recipe. lol
