I used my own meat sauce but used this formula in preparing the final meal. Thanks for sharing - my Italian brother-in-law thought I was a genius ;)

Acorn Squash

I'm sorry, but who doesn't like butter & sugar? Really, this is the only way I will each squash, from this moment on. In fact, I now want more.

Meat Pie (Tourtiere)

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2011
Wonderfully easy and beautiful taste. I followed the changes as recommended by @lynmarie: using no water or cinnamon and adding the potato only once meat was cooked. I used puff pastry to save time -awesome! Thank you for the recipe :)

Chocolate Dipped Orange Biscotti

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2005
I particularly liked this recipe since it yielded such a small amount, perfect for a dinner party and no risk of eating all the left overs. Very yummy. It has inspired me to try more. I also loved the lack of butter, making it a little bit more appearling

Rock Salt Encrusted Prime Rib

gorgeous. I've had this 3 times now and have never been disappointed. Be sure to have an au jus sauce on the side, and make your yorkshire's from butter.... I've never had prime so moist and perfect. A little messy, but so is a super to remember.

Blackberry Spinach Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2005
This salad is a simple blend of various flavours that packs a total punch. I used raspberries since I couldn't find blackberries, and they were just the right amount of tart to substitute. I used balsamic vinegrette with a touch of honey.

Empire Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2004
Fantastico! Or, I guess in the heritage of the cookie, I enjoyed these a 'wee' too much. Please note, if you freeze the cookies, the frosting separates and they need to be re-coated. Time consuming, but very tasty. I will never buy these again. Thank you!

Maple Salmon

My brother made this recipe for my family and it was great. He marinated it for most of the afternoon, then coated the salmon in ground black pepper to seal in the flavour. Excellent and Easy!

Creme de Menthe Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2012
delicious! Recommend cooking for 11-13 minutes, but keeping them soft. Rave reviews at the office. I didn't have mind chips, so instead used 1 c. butterscotch and 2 c. milk chocolate. Recipe yeilded more like 40 cookies - and they lasted only until 10am!

Blackened Tuna

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2004
This is super easy, super tasty and makes my kitchen smell like the Caribbean! I tend to undercook the tuna just a little in order to keep the flavour. And it takes about 10 minutes complete.. the 20 minute estimate is very generous. Enjoy!

Very good, and my guests loved it. Be sure to use all the tomatoes, even though you might think the pizza will overflow.
