Classic Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2014
A lovely salad and the dressing is amazing with less sugar of course. My hubby was doing (mmm mmm mmmm) between every fork and the other, I love it when he does that.

Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2013
This is a great recipe .. I've made some changes and it came out really delicious. I've sautéed the green onions and 3 cloves of garlic, then added half a red bell pepper and a some cayenne pepper (I like my food hot) then added mushrooms and the spinach. I added the cottage cheese (which I usually not fond of) and about 2 spoons of a cheese mixture, 6 eggs and into the oven. I omitted the crouton and it was really great and simple .. I would definitely do it again with more spinach. Thanks for a great recipe

Maple Salmon

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2013
This was a big hit today at lunch. I made few modifications though, I exchanged the maple syrup with 1 tablespoon of honey and squeezed one lemon and omitted the fresh garlic. It was easy and even baking it in the oven was quite simple without aluminium foil, you just have to adjust the time right, it took around 15-20 minutes in the oven. My husband and me agreed that the meal was a gourmet.

Spicy Beef Filet in Oyster Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2013
I bought oyster sauce months ago and never used it. Today I was looking for a recipe for my beef filet and found this recipe, it's easy and my children loved it, even my little boy who is not a big fan of meat. I made it with mashed potatoes as a side dish and it went well with the sauce, I only put a pinch of black pepper and added a bit of water while cooking to make more sauce.

'Out of Salad Dressing' Salad Dressing

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2013
This is the perfect salad dressing, I used it for basic salads and for ceasar's salad and my son told me that it was the best ceasar's salad he ate. To cut out calories I used low fat mayonaise, skimmed milk and didn't use parmesan cheese as I didn't have any on hand, but still it was great. Thanks for a delicious and easy recipe.

Honey Balsamic Vinaigrette

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2013
This is a lovely salad dressing, I made it today with a basic salad of lettuce, red onions, cucumber and tomatoes, even my children who are not much of salad eaters, they loved it. The only modification I made was using garlic powder instead of fresh garlic and cut a bit of the olive oil to reduce caloric intake .. it was great.

I made this recipe with half the amount of apples, 1/4 cup sugar & doubled the cinnamon & a pinch of nutmeg. Also I cut the other ingredients to half but still put 1/4 of the sugar and still it´s sweet. I loved it.

This recipe is wonderfull without changing anything except the water, I just put water enough to move the tomatoes in the mixer. My husband is from Andalucia & he loves it in hot summer days.
