Four Cheese Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2011
I have used this recipe several times and it is one of my favorites on this website. It is super easy and makes very cheesy, delicious mac & cheese. I used the suggestion of other reviewers and mixed the milk and egg before adding it on top of the mac & cheese. I highly recommend this recipe!

Slow Cooker Texas Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2012
I'd give it 10 stars if I could. Best pulled pork I've ever had. Followed the recipe almost exactly. I didn't use onion because of personal preference. This pork was amazingly tender and juicy. I will be making it again.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies II

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2013
Made the recipe just as it is written, except I used regular chocolate chips because that is what I had. Very delicious! I highly recommend. I will be making them again.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2013
Not only is this the best apple pie I have ever eaten, I have so far shared with two others who told me it is the best they've ever eaten. I poured about 2/3 of the caramel sauce on top of the apples before putting the strips of crust on, and then poured the rest over it. You have to use at least some of the caramel sauce on top. It makes the top have this crunchy almost candy-like topping that is soooo good! Couldn't recommend this highly enough!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2012
I followed this recipe exactly as it is written. It even came out to exactly 18 cookies like the recipe says. The flavor was good and these were great straight out of the oven. But as soon as they cooled, they became hard and dry. I prefer soft cookies, and these were not at all soft. I probably won't make these again.

Real Wisconsin Fried Cheese Curds

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2011
I hate giving this a bad review because I see the other good reviews and it makes me wonder if I did something wrong, but I followed the directions, and this was a train wreck. I used an indoor deep-fryer for frying. I had the cheese curds sitting out for a day before I used them, as others suggested, and coated them lightly with flour. I made the batter just as it is written and it looked like a thin pancake batter. I placed 6-8 of the battered cheese curds into the wire strainer that gets dipped into the grease and the curds immediately stuck to the bottom of the strainer. Those were ruined. Then I just plunked the battered curds directly into the oil, and that wasn't much better. The cheese almost immediately starts to ooze out of the coating and into my deep-fryer oil. It made a gigantic mess of my deep-fryer. After it was all said and done, maybe half of the curds I made actually retained their cheese (I did not over-cook them), and the ones that did retain their cheese weren't good. In fairness, I admit I used canola oil instead of corn oil because that was what was in my deep fryer. After attempting to make these, I will have to replace the oil because it got destroyed. A LOT of the batter came off the cheese curds while frying. Maybe I did something wrong, but I love cheese curds and I will not try out this recipe again unless someone can tall me what I did wrong.
