Made these today, substituting 14 tbsp. Dutch processed cocoa powder and 2 tbsp. butter for the unsweetened chocolate. Delicious! Man, I love these things!!

Mocha Coffee

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2012
Just made this using my new Keurig. Delicious!! I am a coffee whimp, so I did have to add some powdered non-dairy creamer. Will definitely make again!

Nonie's Best BBQ

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2012
Made this tonight for recipe group. Made half the recipe. It was easy and really good. Didn't know if the minced onion was fresh or dehydrated. Used real onion, minced with my box grater. An inexpensive, quick, delicious "sloppy" supper. Thanks!!

Simple Coffee Drink

Reviewed: May 6, 2012
Hmmmm. I had high hopes for this recipe. It had an odd taste. Maybe it was the Splenda? I use it in my hot coffee, so not sure. Would like to try again with maybe just a touch of real sugar, no Splenda. Not bad, just weird after taste.

Beef and Noodles in Crockpot

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2012
Made this as stated. It was a quick, stick to your ribs meal served over egg noodles with fresh green beans. If I make it again I will "doctor it up" some. Needed more flavor or spice, or something.

Melt-In-Your-Mouth Meat Loaf

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2012
This was good! I made it exactly as stated. It was a bit salty, I think it may depend on the bread crumbs. I used Progresso Italian style bread crumbs. Would probably decrease or omit the salt if I made it with these bread crumbs, again. It had a really nice texture and sliced/held together well! Easy, too!

Mmm-Mmm Better Brownies

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2012
Yummy! I made as stated, with melted butter. Good chocolatey flavor. Mine turned out kind of flat, with tiny holes all over the top? Did not add chips or frosting. Dusted the top with a little powdered sugar. Quick and delicious! Cured my craving.

Banana Oatmeal Crumb Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2012
I made this exactly as written, but substituted pecans for the walnuts. Very, very good. A dense cake. Kind of like a banana coffee cake. Crumb topping is delicious!

Bada Bing Bada Banged Potatoes

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2012
Yummy! My daughter and I made these today for our husband's for Father's Day dinner. We had a toddler underfoot while the boys were out playing golf, so we didn't exactly measure everything out...but so simple and delicious! The Fathers were impressed. Will definitely make these often!

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Nut Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2012
Made these as written, but did leave out the nuts, as my husband doesn't like them. I tried them fresh from the oven and I was worried, I thought they were awfully dry. Didn't serve them until the next day, and they were better, but still a little dry. Good with a glass of milk or cup of coffee.

Spinach Brownies

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2012
I made half a batch of these delicious "brownies" tonight. The only thing I changed, was that I substituted green onions, because I had some that needed to be used up. These were really good. Even my vegetable hating husband that is not good at trying new things liked these!! Makes a lot. Half recipe made 12 squares, about 2X3 inches each. Hope they warm up well.

Mandarin Orange Cake I

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2012
This is such a refreshing change from heavy, chocolate desserts. I love it!! Made it exactly as written, but added orange extract to the cake batter. I also didn't use the entire tub of whipped topping. Topped it immediately before taking to a potluck. Wish I would have topped it sooner, the topping sets up nicely, and the leftovers were better after it had chilled and set up some. Wonderful cake and I will make it again!!

The Whole Jar of Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2012
DELICIOUS!! I made this with no changes to the original recipe. Baked on parchment lined pans for 12 minutes, let cool on the pans 4 minutes, then to the cooling racks. This made exactly 6 dozen fairly large cookies. They are soooooo good! Thanks for the recipe!

Slow-Cooker Pepper Steak

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2012
Simple and delicious. I made this as written, only increased the "sauce" by doubling the tomatoes, beef broth and cornstarch. A bit salty, for me. Next time I would omit the added salt, and/or use low sodium soy sauce. Served with rice. It was a hit with my husband, and plenty left over for him to take in his lunch. Will make again!!

Serbian Ground Beef, Veggie, and Potato Bake

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2012
I made this as written, and doubled the potatoes. Enjoyed the flavor of the meat, but the potatoes were soggy on the bottom, and dry on top. Might make again, but place the meat mixture in the bottom and top with mashed potatoes, more like a cottage pie. Thanks for sharing!

Pufferdoodles (Puffy Snickerdoodles)

Thanks for sharing this recipe! Mine didn't stay as "puffy" as the picture, but they were so delicious and soft! I made them two weeks ago, and I think I will make them again this weekend! Marvelous!

Dark Rye Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2012
Delicious!! I made the dough in the bread machine, then baked it in an oval loaf on a parchment lined baking sheet. Rose nicely. Dense, but not overly dense, for this type of bread. I did add more caraway seeds, and will probably add even more next time. Can't wait to use it for grilled cheese sandwiches! Thanks for sharing!!

Terry's Texas Pinto Beans

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2012
Good, but I should have followed my instinct and put it in the slow cooker. 4 1/2 hours of cooking, and the beans were edible, but not as done as I would like. Good flavor. I did use home canned salsa, and added some smoked andouille sausage.
