I have made this a few times, and every time it is great. People have asked for the recipe for this, rather than the other dishes I brought.
A couple of pieces that I would point out:
- I use double the amount of cloves, and
- Add Allspice to the milk
* You really need to bring it to a boil VERY slowly.
- It was too sweet when I used the allotted amount of sugar, so I literally use half.
- I would also suggest to use fresher eggs, and rinse the shells before cracking them.
