Grands!® Mini Chicken Pot Pies

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2015
A little bland for our taste. I added a clove of finely chopped garlic and a small onion chopped and sauteed prior to adding the soup and frozen vegetables. Sprinkle a little shredded cheddar cheese on top near the end of the baking.

Very tasty! I deglazed the pan with sherry and used season stuffing instead of the bread. Will cook again!

I would also omit the sugar as others had mentioned. You can always add it back in the end if you still think you need it.

Three Cheese String Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2013
Made it without the pie crust (just spaghetti, parm, egg white and some additional garlic powder) and added a small bag of baby spinach (steamed, drained, squeezed and chopped)to the ricotta. Great use of leftover spaghetti and sauce. Just like lasagna, only easier. Will make it again!

Ricotta Fettuccine Alfredo with Broccoli

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2013
It was definitely quick and easy, but the taste was very bland. I added some fresh diced garlic, a splash of sherry, more fresh ground black pepper and a squeeze of lemon. That seemed to give it a bit more pizazz, however it did have a somewhat grainy texture even before I added anything. Maybe this is because I used the part skim ricotta?

Carrot Souffle

AWESOME!!! Cut the sugar and use brown sugar instead of white, or a combination of the two. Add some ground cinnamon and allspice (about 1/2 tsp. each) and a dash or two of nutmeg.

Even my husband, who is not a fan of Mexican food, likes this recipe! I took the advice of another reviewer and added sliced portabella mushrooms to the onions and pepper. Serve with shredded Mexican cheese blend, salsa, sour cream and shredded lettuce. Very good!

Classico® Chicken and White Bean Stew

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2013
The taste was a 4, but the overall presentation deserves a 3. It was monotone - no zip, no color. I took a previous reviewer's advice and I bought an extra can of beans, but accidentally bought one of the cans as regular dark kidney beans. Good thing though beccause it was the only thing that added any color to the dish. This needs a bit more something (maybe some corn?), but I can't quite determine what without ruining the flavor.

Easy Spinach Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2013
I had a half a bag of fresh spinach which I steamed, squeezed and chopped. This came out to about half the spinach needed in the recipe, so I only made half. I did mine in a mini crock pot,and put all ingredients in together except the fresh chopped tomatoes. I tasted it prior to the addition of the fresh tomatoes and it was awesome. After the addition of the tomatoes, it wasn't as good and seemed a bit bland. I would give this a 5 without the fresh chopped tomatoes, but more like a 3.5 with. If anything, I might add some additional salsa if you want a more tomato taste. Unlike a previous reviewer, I enjoyed the zip of the salsa in this dip and I only used mild salsa.

Vodka Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2013
VERY good. I substituted diced Italian seasoned tomatoes for the roma tomatoes and added bit bit more garlic. I also omitted the water and added about 1/4 cup grated romano cheese to the sauce. Serve over penne or your favorite pasta. Delish! This makes a lot, but the recipe is easily halved.
