German Apple Pancake

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2013
Delicious. I have been making the Pampered Chef version of this for years, but always found it had too much flour. This is much better. I did double the apples with the same amount of butter. This alteration required a few extra minutes of baking time.

Coconut Cream Cake I

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2012
I made this cake for Easter this year. I opted to try and make it into a layer cake, like the picture shows, but found it to be a little difficult to accomplish. I will probably make this as written next time as a sheet type cake. EVERYONE LOVED this! I can't wait to make it again.

Scalloped Potatoes and Onions

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2012
This was delicious as it is written! Especially if you let it cool off a bit before serving. Surprisingly creamy seeing there is no milk or cheese in it. I will most certainly make this again.

Lebanese Chicken and Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2012
Delicious as written. I want to let you know that I did follow a recommendation to use bone in chicken parts, and the meat was tender and moist. Also, I could not find Lemon Juice as I was rushing through the grocery, so I used 1/2 a cup lime juice, and a 1/2 cup of Simply lemonade. I am only writing that to let you know if you dont have Lemon Juice on hand, you can improvise. We will definitely be making this one again!

Buttercream Frosting

Reviewed: May 23, 2008
I made this recipe as it is written, and it is quick and easy to make. I chose this one mostly because it did not call for shortening. I do agree with a few other posters, I would cut down on the Sugar next time. It is delicious though! Will def. make again!

True-Blue Potato Salad

Reviewed: May 17, 2008
This is the best Potato Salad. I made it today for a picnic and it was a HUGE hit! I am a big Blue Cheese fan, so I added more than suggested. I also added 3 Tablespoons of Spicy Mustard...just to give it a little bit more. I also used Regular Sour Cream and Mayonaise, not low fat. It was wonderful. My only warning is to not judge the dressing before you add the blue cheese crumbles. If you taste the dressing it seems like it needs SOMETHING...but then you add the crumbles and mix it together and it is just right!!

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2007
These muffins were the best...and so easy to make! I have used frozen banana "mush" that I had set aside for anytime muffins...and it is still delicios. So don't throw out your aged bananas...mash them up and freeze them!!

Awesome Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: May 27, 2003
I love carrot cake. I get everywhere I can. This is the BEST I have ever had!!! I followed some of the other suggestions: 3/4 cup oil was perfect. I was going to add 1/2 cup of apple sauce, but I forgot...and it turned out great. Moist!!! 2tsps each of Allspice, Nutmeg and Cinnamon made it great!!! I only used 3 cups of teh powdered sugar, but could have only used 2. It was really sweet!! but oh so delicious!! I would highly suggest you print this one out to keep!!
