The Best Seafood Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2007
Didn't change a thing - these were awesome! I might add a bit of parmesan cheese to the breadcrumbs used for the last step! These will be added to my collection of appetizer favorites! Use a teaspoon to fill the caps. It makes it very easy to fill and shape the stuffing!!!

Ricotta Cheese Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2010
I made this recipe exactly as written and baked in a 9x13 pan, as specified. The cake was fantastic! I think if you change the cake mix flavor and extract used in ricotta cheese, the combinations are endless! Can't wait to try more! Would be great with some kind of fruit sauce! Great recipe and SO EASY!!!!

Monkey Bread I

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2007
Not one crumb left! I cooked the butter/brown sugar until it was a caramel-like consistency, this will alleviate the grainy texture some have complained about. I also poured half of the mixture over the biscuits when the Bundt pan was half full to distribute more evenly. Also serve this warm, it will harden when cooled and will be difficult to pull apart!!! Still delicious though!!!

Sheri's Fun Fruit Turkey

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2009
I noticed in the editing process that the staff listed mandarin oranges to be used for the feathers. They will work, but for a good variation of color and larger size, I used grapefruit and orange segments! And for the walnut wattle, it needs to be smooth side DOWN, bumpy side up! Enjoy

Thai Beef Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2011
Love this recipe. Did not use the mint, as we don't care for it and used 1 T of lemon grass paste for fresh (couldn't find fresh). Let it sit overnight as some suggested and it was fabulous. Think I might sprinkle with some chopped dry-roasted, unsalted peanuts for a little crunch next time. A keeper!

Catherine's Spicy Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2007
Delicious!!! I used a whole rotisserie chicken. Pulled off the meat and simmered it in the broth for about 5 minutes to cut time. I used black beans. This is a really delicious soup!

Stovetop Granola

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2007
I was a little concerned because it seemed a bit sticky after it was all together. I spread it out on a cookie sheet and put it in the oven @ 400' for about 3 minutes - watching it to make sure it didn't burn. I took it out, let it cool and broke it up into small chunks. It was perfect! I am looking forward to experimenting with different nuts and fruits!!! Yummy!!!

Shrimp and Crab Bisque

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2010
A wonderful and easy soup. Make sure to double, triple or more. This will be gone in a flash! I did not change a thing. I see a lot of comments about leaving out the wine. I think the key is to use a wine that you enjoy. I used a sweeter local wine and it was delicious. I never use wine in a recipe that I wouldn't drink! :-)

Sloppy Joes II

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2007
I used ground turkey instead of ground beef. I also carmelized the onions and peppers in a small amount of olive oil - used a whole onion because I love onions!I had to add a little water to thin the sauce because the turkey does not give off much juice. This is a keeper!
