Very nice, light and beautifully golden after baking with a good flavor. I thought it was a little dry, but I loved the batter! Not the biggest hit at my open house (apt.), but worth keeping on hand for future baking.

WINNER! That's all I can say. A very versitile cake you should keep in your 'always satisfies' file. Great, from an after school snack to an eligant, fancyful center piece sure to please all. Easy to mix, a joy to bake from bundt to layer or loaf. Great for the CAKE IN A JAR recipe to present as gifts. Enjoy the happiness you will create with this pound (or more) of sheer pleasure. Aloha Kaua e Mele Kalikimaka me ke Houoli Makahiki Hou! Aloha everyone, and a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I made this punch yesterday for my open house (apt.)... as with the major majority, it was a hit. A dozen people killed 2 punch bowls (modified, I mixed in a gallon pitcher) in a few hours. I froze in 4 cup containers; about half-way frozen (10 hrs) I stired the mix, this helps to keep from freezing solid. An hour before the party I moved the containers from the freezer to the fridge. I was able to scoop the mix into the pitcher and add beverage to easily mix into slush. Be createive, I used; Strawberry/Kiwi, Orange/Passion, Pineapple and Lemon juice, with a Ginger Ale mixer, it looked like beer. The moment it touched lips the receipe was reqeusted. Mahalo nui.
