Great pie! Note the video says 2 cans of sweetened condensed milk & the ingredients show 3. 2 is best, 3 is waaay too sweet. Enjoy! :D

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2012
Ever search for a recipe asking friends , family & the Internet for the best one? The search is finally over. whoohoo! Thank Goodness I stumbled upon this one. I've tried dozens and THIS one is the absolute winner. The only few things I did differently was add the stove top mixture to the apples in a bowl. Added Cinnamon to that mixture. Then did not do a lattice crust but a reg one with 4 slits & brushed top with egg wash. SCRUMPTIOUS! Seriously a must try.

This cake is ABSOLUTELY SCRUMPTIOUS! Super simple to make and no tweaking necessary. I should have doubled the recipe & made 2 had I known it was going to be THAT GOOD. ;) Thank you for such an amazing recipe!!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2012
I'm currently making these & followed the recipe as it was written exactly. No added sugar & vanilla as others suggested. The cookies TASTE good but the rolling process, a whole other story. I chilled the dough for 3 hours before starting. As you roll, you get about 9 good cutouts on your sheet before the dough starts to soften & stick. I put the ones I got on the sheet in the fridge to chill for about 1/2hr before baking because I was afraid they would lose their shape. I divided the remaining left over dough in half & chilled again. I rolled one batch at a time & that seemed to work better. Work fast, that's my suggestion.
