Pork Chops with Sour Cream and Mushroom Sauce

Made these chops last week. I brined 8 chops earlier in the day, rinsed them well-wiped them off & put a dry rub on & refrigerated for sev hrs until ready to cook. Browned the chops in skillet-with onion & added some mushrooms. I only used 1can soup added the sour cream-had about 3/4 of a pint, added some white wine, dash of horseradish, oregano marjoram & worchestershire.When chops were browned added the soup mixture to the skillet, simmered about 20 min & it was wonderful-nothing bland about it. Had plenty of sauce for leftovers. Sure on my list of repeats. Joann

Mushroom Pork Chops

My husband & I really enjoyed this-I did add a couple of things; seasoned the chops with rosemary and paprkia in addition to the salt,(I use sea salt) & pepper. To the onion & mushrooms saute added fresh garlic in place of the garlic salt. To the soup I added a good dollop of sour cream & a good splash of white wine before I poured it over the chops. If I had green pepper would have added it also.

BUSH'S® White Bean Salad with Tomatoes, Basil and Garlic

We have always like the white bean/tomato combination but I add some very thinly sliced white sweet or red onion. Also a few bacon bits-if I have. And if have romaine or leafy green lettuce will cut some in FINELY sliced strands & add along with the olive oil a splash or two of balsamic. This makes an excellent side dish in the summer but we have it thru out the year.

Cornbread Casserole

found this recipe a few months ago & it is a BIG hit with hubby-who would like it once a week-so I gave him the recipe to make whenever. Have added some finely chopped jalapeno or 1 can drained green chilies..also a dash of cumin.I never liked plain ordinary cornbread but this one is soooo good & moist & just plain delicious. Thanks.

Easy Easy Casserole

this was fast & easy but I did make the following changs to add a bit more flavor: added oregano, garlic, chopped onions, and a very good splash of red wine.

Santa Fe Rice Salad

made this for dinner last night and it is very good. used Balsamic vinegar & entire can of black beans. next time may add some thawed frozen corn. Also did not need sugar.

Meatballs and Sauce

I made this for a get together and it was well liked- but I made the following changes: after reading other reviews I used only about 3/4 bag of meatballs & did need 2 cans of soup, had only about 6hrs to marinate and only about 1 3/4 cup sour cream. I decided it needed just a bit of pizaaz so added sev good dashes of Worchestershire plus some horseradish and a good sprinkle of Tony C's Cajun seasoning & it really was very good. Will make again but am thinking of trying 1 cream of onion & 1 of mushroom.
