Fried Irish Cabbage with Bacon
Saute chopped onions with the cabbage and when everything is soft, mix it,along with the bacon,into mashed potatoes. That dish is called Colcannon and served with melted butter in a well you make on top of the potatoes! I make that every St Pat's Day along with Corned Beef Wellington!

Mom's Italian Beef Barley Soup
I've made this recipe many times now-still love it! I add carrots so that it's a complete meal! Sometimes towards the end I add handfuls of baby spinach. Real comfort food. Thank you for a simple, delicious recipe!

My-Hop Pancakes
I found these pancakes to be bland. The first time I made them I made the recipe as written. The second time, I added some malt (which is what I always add to my pancakes). Still bland. I ended up sprinkling them wih cinnamon sugar just to add flavor. Not a terrible recipe, just "ok".
