Belgian Waffles

The best waffle recipe I've used. I stuck to the recipe except for the suggestion of others, to make the night before and let rise in the refrigerator. I used the batter direct from the fridge, no warming to room temperature or stirring. Everyone raved about the waffles. This batter will be thicker than most but not a problem.

Waffles I

Even in my ancient waffle maker, these came out perfectly. Like someone else suggested, I separately beat the egg whites and folded them in at the end.

Accordion Rye Rolls

As suggested by another user, I made the rolls with half whole wheat flour and added wheat gluten. I halved the recipe and made 8 good-sized dinner rolls instead. Great taste ... definitely a recipe I will use again.
