Marinated Flank Steak

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2003
I cooked this in my broiler for 8 mins. on each side, basting occasionally with marinade. It was medium rare and quite good. Nice way to tenderize a tougher piece of meat.

Definitely a 5+! The first batch out of the oven were gone by the time the second batch came out. Everyone agreed they were delicious, and it is a recipe worth saving. This recipe needs no changes. Thanks for sharing it.

Baked Onion Dip I

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2003
Oh my goodness! A recipe couldn't be more delicious or simple. My guests almost licked the bowl clean....... I mixed it up the day before a dinner and just popped it in the oven before my guests arrived. Thanks for sharing.

Torsk

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2004
Very good, tasty & simple to do. I even boiled the cod in the morning, then refrigerated it till dinner. Then it only took a few minutes in the broiler. For health reasons, we're trying to eat more fish, but up till now only liked it battered & deep fried. This was great! Needs no changes. It's a keeper. Thanks much.....

Peach Cobbler Dump Cake I

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2010
Very good & easy. Use more peaches, less juice, no additional sugar, but a sprinkle of cinnamon and chopped pecans over peaches before sprinkling on the cake mix. Slice cold butter thin and cover whole top. Couldn't be any easier. Also delicious with butter pecan cake mix.

Absolutely delicious and beautiful and freezes well. Made just as submited & wouldn't change a thing. Made them last night for the first time and was asked for the recipe by a guest who tried them. Thanks so much.

Very good! I used more cabbage than called for since we like cabbage so much. Would definitely make it again. Thanks.

Indonesian Satay

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2003
Out of preference for dark meat, I used skinless, boneless chicken thighs for this yummy recipe. Due to a busy schedule, the meat marinaded all day and was then cooked on a George Foreman Grill. Absolutely delicious, and very tender. My husband said he could eat it every day for a week! Thanks for the recipe.

Portuguese Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2011
Very, very good. Made exactly as written, except only 4 servings which was enough for 6 people with leftovers. Vinegar was a unique addition. Will definitely make again. Thanks.

Garlic Cheese Biscuits

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2003
Very, very good little biscuits. Although I couldn't find buttermilk baking mix, Bisquick worked just fine. Be sure the garlic powder doesn't stay in the bottom of the bowl when brushing on the melted butter. It adds so much to the flavor....
